Workmen came on April 18, 2007 removed 2 toilets, put in "snake" to unclog. Snake got caught and Owner had to be called. They returned the next morning and could not remove "snake." Condo Management approved digging of common area to allow removal of snake. Condo was charged almost $2,000.00. Both toilets were not used until Monday, April 23, 2007, when I discovered that the toilet upstairs was not properly seated. I called their answering service at least 3 times per day, operators took messages and assured me that they were all relayed to the company. I received a return call once and was promised that they would return to correct problem. No one came and all other calls were not returned. The last time I called, the number was out of service. I called the licensing authority and was advised that no contractor number CFC1426638 was listed in their records. I then e-mailed the BBB to help me, but they apparently could not help.
Description of Work: REMOVE 2 TOILETS - ONE UPSTAIRS AND ONE DOWNSTAIRS. UNCLOGGED AND REPLACED. ORIGINAL ESTIMATE $200 (APPRX). OWNER HAD AN EXTREMELY BAD ATTITUDE WHEN ASKED ABOUT $200 ORIGINAL ESTIMATE AND $550.00 FOR FINAL WORK. SERVICE MEN ALSO DAMAGED SHOWER CURTAIN (COST $39.99).
