Lawn Tool Repair
A few cautions. First of all, if you don't speak Spanish, you won't be able to talk to the guy who answers the phone, and I got hung up on twice before the manager called me back. I do speak Spanish, but the guy wouldn't even try to talk to me. That's nothing unusual in Miami, but not a good sign. Second, they quoted me $85 for a carb replacement, fuel tank cleaning and fuel filter, less the $20 deposit they required for the evaluation. When I went to pick it up, they tried to charge me $105, saying that they hadn't thought they would have to install the carb kit, but wound up doing it anyway. This of course tells me that they were going to charge me for the carb kit whether they installed it or not. When I put up a fuss, they lowered the price to $95. Jerking around a new customer over a few bucks? Not good. I won't be back.
