Prestige Windows and Doors

DO NOT USE PRESTIGE WINDOWS AND DOORS! I was assaulted by one of their employees after they snuck into our gated community, solicited, and refused to leave! Someone knocked on my front door about 6PM on a Friday, I went outside, and nobody was there, but I did see a man and woman knocking on my neighbor’s door and then soliciting for impact windows and doors. I walked up to the couple and asked them if I could help them. The man replied, “No, this is none of your business… this doesn’t concern you”. I told them this is a private gated community and soliciting was not allowed. He asked who I thought I was, so I identified myself as President of the condominium association. I asked what unit they were visiting, and the man said, “It was none of my f**king business”. He went on to say, “They were doing work on the property and that they were allowed to be there”. I told him that no one is allowed to solicit for business and politely asked them to leave. They both refused multiple times to leave and became very angry and combative. After about 10 minutes of them trying to tell me why they are allowed to knock on doors, I finally again politely said that I had asked them at least 6-7 times to leave and that I would have to call the police. At this point they started walking out. I followed them out, which angered the man and he threatened me several times saying that if I followed them out he would consider me a threat (fyi I weigh 145lbs and the guy was probably +/-225lbs). I refused to stop following them and the man turned around walked towards me and took his clipboard in his right hand, reared back, and struck me “hard” in the chest with the side of the clipboard. He said, “I told you not to follow me”. They continued to though the same route that they snuck into the community. Several more times the man threatened to hit me again on the way out. So, I made a police report. I tried to call the company to let them know what happened. That guy should not be working in sales and the owner needed to know. He never called me back. A couple days ago I receive an application for new windows and Prestige Windows and Doors is the contractor. The manager at Prestige, Christopher Rivas, in an email told our property manager that I had admitted in the police report that the employee did not touch me and that I was being unethical! What an awful group of people; I wonder how they treat their customers? DO NOT USE PRESTIGE WINDOWS AND DOORS!
