Beware of BKR General Construction. We signed a contract in November 2023 for a partial home remodel, and it has been a nightmare. Sergio Avila is inexperienced, inspections were called without proper paperwork. They don?t take responsibility for damages and made us sign another contract to avoid liability. And now they want us to sign a third contract. We?ve moved back in in November 2024, the project is still incomplete, and we haven?t received the city?s completion letter. I have requested for this job to be finished multiple times. I have never denied the final payment even though the final payment was requested without the letter of completion and had me believe that everything was completed through the city. And I am still waiting for Sergio Avila to give me the final date to finish this project. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Excellent communication, every text, call, question was answered right away. His entire team is clean and very considerate. I love the work Mike did on my bathrooms!!!

Mike and his team were hired in January 2023 to remodel our home. We are pleased with his work, professionalism, communication, expediency, efficiency, and reasonable pricing. He kept us informed with project delays/changes, his team was hard working and punctual EVERY DAY, and they managed to finish the projects on time. Mike went above and beyond his scope of work by assisting us with pickups/returns. He maintained a very positive attitude and made himself available to answer questions. Great customer service is seldom. We have decided to make Mike and team our permanent general contractor for all future home projects. We are very happy with our newly revised home.

Amazing work

There were some minor hiccups during the remodeling of my bathroom- mostly with the tile work. But whenever I brought issues up to Mike, he was on it. He took of any problems and made up for any inconveniences. He was great at answering texts and phone calls as well. The bathroom looks great.

BKR General Construction was such a pleasure to work with. The team was always on time and professional. They also did a great job of communicating with me regarding updates and timelines. I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family. Additionally, I will be working with them on any of my future remodeling plans.

Mike and heâ s crew did a great job! From first talking to Mike he showed professionalism, answer my calls and text quick in witch is very helpful when trying to purchase materials. Very happy the way our bathroom came out, and I would definitely recommend Mike ! Thank you ð
