It is a good place and I have used them since the 1970's. They are great and their people are great. They are Cuban immigrants so they are happy to be here and work so hard. They are honest and I love Alex that works there. They answer calls any hour of the night or day so he is salt of the earth; I would recommend him to the end of the world. I have talked to all of my friends and they all love him. I have called them in them middle of the night when I have lost my keys and could not get in my house. They are fabulous. I don't have to call them back or anything. I don't think their pricing is exorbitant. They make keys quickly and make them while I wait. They all work and they do everything right. They are congenial, pleasant and they show up. You can trust them; they are not a bunch of thieves that will come in your house and steal you blind. Every time I see some emergency call in the neighborhood and York lock is in the driveway I know they are getting a good job done. The local residents love them; I don't know if the tourists know how good they are. They have a lot of area competition, yet they are prospering and I see their truck everywhere. They have never let me down. They were here in a hurry once when I needed all the locks in the house changed. They also show up quicker than the cops do.

My housekeeper called me when the deadbolt lock on a door at my house broke, so she could not close or lock the door. She needed to leave, so it was urgent that it be repaired. I called York Lock and Key and they sent someone to my house within a few minutes. The repairman called me to tell me that normally he would replace the broken part, but since they didn't have that part in stock, he would have to replace the entire lock at a higher cost. I gave permission for that to be done. When he went back to the store to get the lock, he did find the replacement part, making it unnecessary to replace the entire lock. He replaced the part for the lower price. Now the lock works better than it has for a long time. I was very impressed by the response time, how professional everyone was, and their honesty. I also had them replace all the cylinders on my locks one year ago, and had a similar, excellent experience.

On a very stormy Sunday afternoon, I locked my car keys inside the car. I luckily have my house keys on a separate ring, so went inside and immediately got online and looked for a locksmith on Angie's List. Juan at York was straightforward and clear about the price, and agreed to come right away. He was located very close to my home, and arrived in less than 30 minutes, as he said he would do. The locksmith had success after some minimal delays. A very WELCOME straightforward service!!
