All contacts with them were responsive and friendly. My right front tire was destroyed because it went flat and I had to drive on it -- my car has no spare -- so I was looking for one new tire. However, neither Martino Tire nor I could find a 245/35ZR21 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 in stock, anywhere... and it's a $600 tire so I don't keep any extras around. :-)
After consultation with them and others, I bought two Continental ExtremeContact DW tires ($315 each) and replaced both my front tires. Since only one was damaged, I now have a spare PS2. Martino was flexible and easy to work with on timing, and they had my tires mounted, balanced, and on the car quickly.
Overall, I was quite happy with this interaction. They were reasonably priced, not cheap, but then they're a retail location on Alton Road... if they were cheap, they'd either be cutting corners or out of business. I have them a "B" for quality, professionalism, and overall because the service guy actually doing the work made one important mistake: he filled the two new tires to only 34 psi while my car requires 42 psi. Big mistake, because a tire that's 8 pounds underinflated will not perform at 100% effectiveness and this could be a safety issue.
Luckily I'm a "trust but verify" guy and I immediately checked all my tire pressures as I always do, so I caught it even before leaving their parking lot. They filled the tires to the correct spec immediately, and also gracefully accepted my complaint and my suggestion that they require the service techs to write in on the work order what pressure they used to fill a new tire.

However, within 30 minutes of dropping off car I was advised "our detailed inspection shows your car" requires new belts, brake pads and a variety of other items totaling more than $700. This  despite vehicle under extended warranty and had received complete brake replacement 4,000 miles before. It was obvious that no "detailed inspection" had been conducted and we were being presented a laundry list of "potential dangers" to stampede us into approving these unneeded services. Needless to say these "loads" were declined but your subscribers need to be warned about this practice

Had never had a great experience when using Martino Tire in past, so stopped going there. Had a screw go into the tire tread, and as it was on the way of all my errands on a busy day, I decided to give it a chance. Anyway they said they couldnt patch tire. I am not going to argue this point and would prefer to err on side of safety so agreed to get a new tire. They didnt have a new tire in stock and as I was in a rush let them put on the spare and would return when it came in. When I got there to have it installed, I walked out to do some errands while they were installing. They called to say the studs were rusted and needed replacing. They didnt notice this the day before when they took tire off and put spare on. I unfortunately wasnt in shop at the time to confirm. When I got back the bill ended up being over 350 dollars. There were also missing covers for bolts but I was so disgusted at that point didnt want to argue with them.
