EXCELLENT......BORIS WAS PROFESSIONAL, INFORMATIVE AND PUNCTUAL....YOU'D BE STUPID NOT TO HIRE JB APPLIANCES....

They scheduled to come on Monday and said they would call before arriving. They called at 11am and arrived 10 minutes later (they had two prior appointments that morning). Boris (note: the company has only two people - John and Boris) arrived, inspected / tested different items for electrical currents, and gave an estimate. I approved the estimate and 45 minutes later, the fridge was cooling properly. Now 24 hours later, it is all hitting the right temperatures, both in the fridge and freezer. To top it off, he got my icemaker to work again at no charge!

John was able to make an exception and come a day early when I explained to him I had to work the next day. He called before his arrival as promised. He knew exactly what he was doing. He solved my issue, was very professional and reasonably priced. If you need anyone for your major appliances I highly recommend him.

My freezer wasn't completely freezing my ice cream and I knew something was up.. looked on line for places with good reviews and called a few. I left a message for JB and they promptly got back to me (and spoke English - a big plus!).. John (I think that was his name - I did everything by phone) called me and let me know he would be on the beach between 11 and 3.. He called me 40 minutes in advance and even had to wait in front of my house a few minutes for my daughter to get home.. He found the issue immediately (the freezer drawer was off track and wasn't shutting properly), and for a small fee offered to clean the freezer of the ice and food particles (big plus for me - thanks John). I paid him over the phone. Problem solved - My daughter texted me "Literally the nicest guy on the planet" "Quite possibly"

I have now used John - JB - for all of my appliance repairs for close to 20 years. He is ALWAYS on time and you could not ask for a more forthright professional service provider. When all I need is a ten dollar belt all I pay for is the belt and the labor. When a machine is not worth the cost of repair, I am told not to give John my money. A trustworthy repair pro is tough to find, and John is at the very pinnacle. There are very few outfits which I feel I can recommend without any reservation whatsoever, but this is that rare case. I have known John for years and he is a gentleman. He and his staff are punctual, courteous, efficient, and his prices are more than fair.

Boris from JB appliance was able to get to the apartment quickly and diagnose the problem. The part was ordered and replaced the next day. In addition to the prompt and excellent service, Boris interacted extremely well with my elderly, spanish-speaking tenant. He was kind and gracious throughout the encounter. I was very pleased with the overall service.

The service charge of 75.00 was steep but the work was done in about 3 days. Party had to be on time. Work was done professional.

Not a good experience

He was very professional and pleasant. Despite some challenges presented by a larger microwave, he was able to perform the installation quickly and effectively. I would highly recommend him and use him again.

Our oven fan started going on by itself and he came to check it out. He figured out the problem and tried to fix the part, taking a good amount of his time. When he determined the part was not repairable he looked into ordering the replacement part. The part was very pricy at that point he recommended just replacing the appx 10 yr old stove. He only charged the service fee, even though he took a good amount of his time trying to fix the part and even brought out an employ who specialized in soldering and took his time to get all the info for the replacement part.

He was very prompt; he got back to me right away. He was so honest; he gave me solid recommendations on what to do. We had a situation with the dryer, he said to change the motor and he could fix it. It would cost me more money than if I bought a new one. He was very honest, he gave me the options and he gave me his recommendation. Then he did an extra, which I loved. He was looking at my refrigerator and he said, when was the last time I cleaned out the coil. He said he was going to do that for me right then. Therefore, he just did it. I thought it was great. I was really appreciative of that. I would use his services again in the future.

The compoany was responsive- emailed me the same day as receipt of request for repair. The service team arrived punctually, got to work immediately, left the laundry area spotless. very professional, courteous.
