I walked in without an appointment on a busy Saturday because I was not happy with work that was done by my car dealership--I needed a second opinion before I returned to the dealership. They were able to get me in within an hour or so. Ty--the head mechanic (with 30+years experience)--went for a test drive with me. The issue in question was whether a new hydraulic engine mount was correctly installed by the dealership (engine vibration had increased since the installation). Ty noted the vibration and put the car on the lift. After a thorough inspection, he noted several other causes which could account for the vibration (other engine mounts that may need replacing; rusted exhaust mounts resulting in the exhaust pipes vibrating, etc.). He said that the work the dealership did was sound. That's what I needed to know. I immediately cancelled a scheduled appointment with said dealership, knowing now that they did, in fact, do a good repair job. Ty saved me untold grief by allowing me to not have to go back to the dealership to contest an otherwise good repair. He informed me of repair issues that may soon need to be addressed-something that the dealership didn't do (had they let me know about my muffler issue I would not have blamed the vibration on the new engine mount.).
To top off the whole experience, Tires Plus didn't even charge me for the inspection! That's how to gain new customers. Tires plus gave me their full attention and provided excellent customer service.

Even without an appointment it was done in 45 minutes and received a $30 discount.

Michael, the store manager, is extremely friendly and courteous as well as all of the other technicians. He spent much time explaining the different tread designs and went online to show me information on the tire he recommended. They have the best prices that I could find in Brevard County. During the inspection, he found nothing that needed repaired, which is very rare.

We were coming up over the bridge to Merritt Island pulling a large trailer with furniture at 6:00 in the evening and all at once my husband said the van was losing it's power from the battery. Right after we got off the bridge I spied a full service Tires Plus on the left. We made a U-turn and pulled into the lot. My husband explained the situation and immediately 3 guys were there checking the battery and other issues that could be the cause of the battery losing power. My husband had purchased a new battery a few weeks earlier. The crew found that our alternator was the cause of the problem. They gave a us a price and said it would be 1/2 to one hour. Within the hour they had changed out the alternator and all was well. I was very pleased with the manager, Steve Crosby, and his workmen. They were polite and professional. I would gladly return there for repair work if I lived in the area. I'm sorry to say that I live 2 hours away. I was very impressed that they would do the caliber of work they did for someone that pulled in their shop just off the street at near closing time.
