95 days later the project was completed by Smith. They talked us into getting new double doors. They wanted their payment BEFORE they finished the project. The sub contractors for the stucco were horrible, they spilled dirty water on our screened in porch and sofa. They also splattered stucco on our fence. The people from Smith basically showed up whenever they felt like it. The only time we ever received a call that anyone was coming was for the subcontractors. We were going to have them do other work for us to the tune of $29,000, but no way in **** would we hire them for anything else. We blame ourselves for hiring them in the first place as our painters said they had heard bad things about them, but we felt it was an emergency to get rid of the dry rot. They are very lucky to get a "C" rating from us.
