Simply Clean Pools LLC

We used this company because it was the company that the previous owner of the house used when we purchased it.  We lived overseas and did not have the opportunity to check out other companies and/or get estimates from others living so far away and they agreed to keep that same costs that the previous owner had been paying.  Overall they did a good job.  Had we been living there, we could have done the work ourselves.  Now our daughter is living there and she is taking care of the same stuff on her own.  They did average work on cleaning the pool, I would have liked for them to be a little more proactive when they noticed things that were wrong (as we were not there and could not see these things for ourselves).  We would have liked to see more updates on issues, etc.  But overall, they did a decent job.  They did try to be a bit more active towards the end when the company divided, but by that time, we had someone living in the house that could take care of the pool for us.  We do appreciate what they did for the long time period that we employed them, we could not have done the work living overseas.  We would recommend them to someone else, but suggest that the terms of the agreement be specific and it would be easier if the owner actually lived in the home.  Everything is more difficult when you are not living in the home.

**Update:  To be more specific, the company which was originally cleaning and maintenance/repair split in Jan 2015 and the cleaning section was sold to another person. The cleaning part which was purchased kept the name so closely to the original company name that we assumed the two parts where still under one owner. That is not the case, THIS company now only does the maintenance and repair work and as of Jan 2015 no longer does the pool cleaning service.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. I didn't spend any additional. The guy showed up when he said he would and he did what was promised. He pointed out a couple of things that probably should have been done. I was able to do that and he fixed the leak.

Phil called to let me know he was running a few minutes late. He checked the skimmer first and noticed the problem right away. He also noticed the leaking pipe. Drained pool to workable level - came back day after to repair. Gave me a pool course, very informative. He is trustworthy.

We moved into our new house a month and half ago, and we were maintaining our pool ourselves.  This was a hard task as the previous owner had canceled the pool service months prior to us closing, so there were no chemicals in the pool.  We tried several times to get the pool clear, and it worked but we were having a very hard time keeping up with it.  That's when we decided it was time to bring some professionals in.  After doing some research we called Simply Clean Pools and they set up an appointment and came out the next day.  They showed up promptly, even called when they were on their way.  They met with my husband told him exactly what was needed to be done gave him the price breakdown for the first time service and for the monthly service.  They had a technician come out the next day, Friday, to work on the pool.

Phil, was on time, answered all questions, did what he said he was going to do and more. Clean work, subcontractor was fantastic, can't say enough about how professional he was.

Phil showed up promptly the next day and began work on the pool and even followed up on the 4th of July holiday to ensure the pool would be ready as promised. Within a week the pool was crystal clear again. Phil was not only knowledgeable, but also courteous, and fair with pricing.  Once the clean up was complete I decided to contract with Simply Clean Pools and hire them to maintain my pool on a weekly basis.  Phil or one of his crew show up every Saturday and keep my pool clean for a reasonable cost of $95 a month.  I'm very pleased with the service and highly recommend Simply Clean Pools to anyone that needs the job done right and for a fair price.
