Absolutely excellent. I take my dog there all the time for grooming and also will be taking her to daycare three days a week. She absolutely loves it there. Lots of dogs to play with, socialization , immaculate surroundings and the care is excellent. I would recommend to anyone that wants to receive the best care for their pet. I will never go anywhere else because of the love and compassion they have extended to her!

I called this business to ask if we would be credited the $80 back since we only used 2 days and will not be back in the future, and the owner would not speak to me on the phone. The lady I spoke to told me that there are no refunds and I would have to speak to the owner about it, but she was too busy at the moment. Keep in mind that we did not sign any agreement stating we would fulfill this deal, nor were we informed that there are no refunds at the time of purchase. I do no believe that this is not a professional way to run a business

Wife: When i went in today to drop our dog off for grooming I asked the owner to cut our dog a little shorter. She just rolled her eyes at me and made me feel uncomfortable. I guess we can't ask how long our dogs coat should be. I called my husband about this because I was surprised by the owners response. I was very upset.
Husband: About 2:00PM I get a call from the shop. They say that our dog has a lot of mats and it will cost extra if I want them to brush them out. I agree. At 4:00PM I am in in the area so I stop by and inquire about our dog. The owner comes out and starts telling me how she can't just pull her people off other jobs and blah blah. I tell her just tell me when when our dog will be ready. She says 6:00PM. So now I'm feeling what my wife felt in the morning. I talk to my wife about this and we decide that this is the last time we will use this groomer. At 5:40 I get a call saying the dog is ready. I go to pick up the dog. The cashier thanks me for my patients. I say not a problem, however this will be the last time you will see us. The owner is standing there and says 'What'. I start to explain what went down this day and she just exploded. F-bombs right and left. Screaming and yelling. She says, "so glad she never sold us a dog that had we had inquired about. How dare I question a charge in the past. Don't you ever step foot in my business again or else..."
She was bringing up everything that had happened in the past. We are easy going people and have never had conversations like this. In fact, we've owned a business for 30 years so we know how to treat customers.
We got our dog about one year ago. This group was recommended to us as a place that knew how to groom and take care of our kind of dog. We took her there there several times and we were happy with the results. It seems that when we didn't want to purchase a puppy from them and when we wanted to change the way they were grooming our dog...they did not like that and decided to get ugly.
As you can see, we are rating this company well for everything other than professionalization. I would NEVER take any animal to her ever again. I'm sorry our dog mats. We brush her often. Every dog isn't the same. Just like every child isn't the same. However, we must say, her staff is INCREDIBLE. Too bad this owner is involved and it's her business.

My husband and I went on our first vacation since having our two dogs. I was very nervous to leave them for an entire week so I did ALOT of research before boarding them. I called about 10 places and went on tours to about 6 boarding places before choosing Paws and Claws. Paws and Claws is about 40 minutes from my house but the drive was worth it. I was a bit nervous because they were the cheapest place I found so I thought they may be a crappy place, but quickly found out that wasn't the case. I obviously don't know what happened there while I was on vacation but I do know that when I called everyday for an update they were very kind and told me they were doing well. My dogs came home happy, healthy, and tired from all of the playing so what more could I ask for?!?! In my eyes that's perfect!
The only reason they didn't get a perfect score is because I faxed in my dogs' reservations and their vet paperwork to Paws and Claws a week or so before my vacation. I called that same day to make sure they got the fax and the lady said they did and would file my vet records and put in my reservation. The day I went to drop the dogs off they had no record of my reservation or vet records. I was very upset. Luckily, they had room for my dogs and could still take them that day and they called the vet and got my records. However, if they didn't have room they could have caused me to miss my flight! So I would suggest, after making reservations just be sure to follow up before you leave and make sure they really have your reservations on file. Just a slight mistake with paperwork so overall still an A place for me and I would board my boys there again.

Their whole crew is very dedicated to their profession. They are caring and loving with the animals. They are professional and take the time to explain what they are doing with your pets. The price is also very reasonable.

Very nice place to board a pet. Nothing fancy, just nice caring people. I had my puppy boarded overnight, and I also had her groomed. They did a wonderful job, and at a very reasonable price.
