Ground Control Landscape Maintenance

This is a very professional company with excellent customer service. The crew does a fantastic job every month on my lawn, and also with trimming and mulch. They certainly have enhanced the look and value of my home and are very much appreciated. Highly recommend them for all the landscaping needs of your home. They do excellent work!

Sadly the owner passed away in early 2020 and the current management has been non-responsive to issues that we encountered with his crew. After seeing the lawn service quality decline for months -- sometimes part of our yard did not even get mowed! it all came to a head when his crew lead cussed my husband out (starting with the F word). I called, sent an email and finally a hardcopy letter, all of which went unanswered. We cancelled our service, and I requested a refund for future service I had already paid for. Still waiting 1 month later. All unfortunate because the former owner cared about his company, and I am sure he would be disappointed in how at least one loyal customer (7 years) was treated.

Most of the service was good, however, some of my property was destroyed and it was not replaced nor did the owner pay me for it. One of my sprinkler heads was damaged, and that was fixed after calling several times, and taking pictures to show that what was said to be repaired was not repaired. I called a couple of times to find out when my lawn was going to be cut, just to be told the people had already come by. I took pictures to show my lawn had not been done, and I was then told a different story. You have to keep track of how many times your lawn is cut because I was shorted 3 lawn cuts, and information clearly stated how many times they were to cut the lawn. I like to know that I can trust a company when I hire them, and that they will stand behind what they tell you before you pay them. It seems like with this company once I paid them in advance because that was a good price, they figured they could treat the customer however they choose to. I gave the company a B because they were not as bad to be rated a C. I just say keep up with your lawn cuts as I did, and check whatever you have in your lawn, sprinkler heads, and especially solar lights.

We have a large yard and have used Paul and his crew since early 2012. They consistently do good work and generally come on a set day every week. We are billed once a month. No complaints about the services! Paul is a terrific guy, very conscientious and friendly. We highly recommend Ground Control.

Started out pretty well, but I rarely ever get calls or emails returned. I was promised to have a tree trimmed nearly a month ago. It still hasn't happened. I found weeds growing in the back that were to have been treated. I even tried to contact them to hire them to do maintenance at my 2nd home and still never heard from them.

I never heard from him.  He never made the call that he promised.

The person working on the lawn arrived early before lunch just like the owner said, and he did a great job on my lawn and bushes.

I have them about a year. It's fine. We have a acre of land. They did what they promise what they were gonna do. We are good with it. I am not home when they are doing it. They do come during the day. They are here every week. They don't have a set time. They are here on Thursday. I only talk to the owner.

They were wonderful. They came and did the job and they did a wonderful job without me telling them what to do. They knew what they were doing.

Paul and a worker were extremely polite, hardworking and considerate of all the underground wiring and pipes.   Very professional in all aspects of interaction and landscape work.

UPDATE:  I did hear from Paul after posting the comments below.  Turns out he had a resource issue.  He came soon after with the mulch and I am quite satisfied with it.  I plan to use him again for some irrigation work.

I'm sorry to report this, and I'll change my review later if I hear from this provider, but I've attempted to leave messages on the only phone number available and the mailbox is full. I hope he has not gone out of business!

We were very pleased with this company-they showed on time and spread around
the red mulch-it was much more than we expected!
