I like it because it is convenient. You can go in the mall while you wait for the work to be done because it is right there in the mall's parking lot. They are pretty quick and they keep records in their data base so when you come in and you have been there before, they have all the records on your car and everything.

Went to have an oil pressue light problem checked. I asked on the phone if they could do a pressure test. The said yes, but when I arrived, I was told they did not have the proper equipment. However, the mechanic did a quick drive test that pointed to a bad oil pressure sensor. He was very quick to this conclusion and very forthcoming as I asked questions. Since they couldn't do the test I asked for, they did not charge me. They were very nice about it. I then went to an auto parts store and easily replaced the sensor myself. This solved the problem. Also, around Sept this year, I called Firestone and they nicely bargained with me to beat a best price I had for a set of tires.

"This is Greg speaking for Firestone Management: Mr. Daria has always been a valued customer. We are sorry he has not had a positive experience. Mr. Daria spoke with our district manager and our service manager and he said the issue has been resolved. In fact a refund of $70.56 was issued to Mr Daria on 5-15-2009. We are sorry if this caused any inconvenience."

The man who taught me these things was very thorough and it was not as embarrassing as I had feared it would be, but a good and interesting experience. When it came time to pay him, he said there was no charge, even though he had taken quite some time to patiently show me things (as I knew nothing at all-not even how to open the hood). When the little sticker showed it was time for an oil change, I returned and had that done and some other routine things and the charges seemed to be very much in line with what were in my husband's checkbooks at these usual intervals.

They are very good. They can usually have the car done within one day. They offer discounts whenever possible. They are very conveniently located next to the mall, so it is easy to drop the car off and do other things. I will continue to use their services in the future and would recommend them to others.
