Concrete pool deck was pressure cleaned. CV then stained the existing flagstone appearance deck using five different colored stains. Two coats of sealer was then applied to deck. Deck is even prettier the second time then the original installation by the pool installers!

I couldn't be more pleased with the work done...it was professional, and exactly what I had envisioned and what I wanted. Any phone calls to the company were promptly returned, and the owners, Donna and Dave, were often onsite to assure everything was progressing as promised . The crew worked tirelessly in the heat to get the job done as promptly as possible. Foreman, Rich, was meticulous in measuring and re-measuring to make sure everything was perfect, then worked long hours to accomplish the work. My thanks and appreciation to all concerned...I couldn't have asked for better.

It went great?  Guys showed up on time and worked continuously to repair the damage and cracks and then put stucco over the area.  Finished the job in a timely fashion and cleaned up after themselves.

I love the way my porch and pool look.  They worked well with me, listening to my input and offering their expertise.  Together, we came up with a perfect look.  They were professional and called everytime they were on their way.  They kept me informed on every step of the process.  I am very happy with the result!

. The team at Concrete Visions came out to meet with us about products,  help choose colors and  provided us with a detailed timeline which they held to. They even gave us the name of a company  to help move our spa out . The entire project took more than a week because of the new concrete pour, otherwise it would have only taken a few days . The floor turned out beautifully and changed the whole ook of our yard .

Dave and Donna were quick to respond to our message through Angie's List.  We were shown small tile samples of different colors of the texture and colors that would be applied.   A quote for the job was sent quickly.  We decided to add replacing the pad in front of the garage instead of just having it resurfaced. We agreed to the new quote and work began just a short time later.
Dave subcontracted the removal of the old concrete pad to another company.  That company was not as prompt or as punctual, but the job did get done.  Dave's workers were waiting for the other company to finish so they could get to work.
Everything went well until the colors on the pool deck were not what we thought they were going to be.  Dave was extremely responsive when we left a message shortly after they had finished that we were very disappointed in the color around the pool deck.  After researching options that might be available, Dave had a representative from the company come out to advise.
Dave gave a great effort to bring the finished  resurfacing around our pool deck to our expectations.  While we can say he did his best, the colors just aren't the finished product we were expecting.  I would advise others to actually check out other finished projects and colors, prior to making a decision.  We were expecting a better finished product.  What we got is ok, not spectacular.  We recognize  this is not an exact science, but it should be closer to what was described.
Dave and his workers are wonderful people to work with and attempt to make the customer pleased.  This was really unfortunate for everyone.

Concrete Visions was professional, punctual, and completely friendly through the entire experience. From the time of the estimate given to the time of job completion, they made sure that I was satisfied. Their communications skills as a contractor are impeccable. Through both email and phone, I was able to contact them with any questions and they contacted me promptly when anything was in question.
The work itself was done in a professional and experienced manner and the end result was extremely satisfying. By the time the work was done and they were leaving, I was already enjoying the result. I would use them for future concrete work any day of the week.

The job went smoothly and was completed on time. Dave, Rich, and Donna are very personable, professional, and extremely knowledge in all things concrete! After we saw the completed garage, we hired them to pressure clean and professionally seal our large driveway--with the same high-quality results. We are planning to hire them for future concrete re-surfacing improvements and highly recommend Concrete Visions, Inc.!

We arranged to have David and Donna look at our really worn our, old pool deck and covered patio area. They came on time, took their measurements, showed us the types of finishes they could provide and we roughed out what we wanted. They sent a formal estimate within the week, we decided to go with them, and had a follow-up design meeting, where we worked out exactly what we wanted. They scheduled it and their son Richie came and power washed the area, and the next day David came with Richie and they began the first part of the work, to smoothly cover the existing deck with a stucco type material. The next day David and Richie masked off and covered the areas adjacent to the deck, then sprayed on the color combination we had selected. After that dried they applied two coats of acrylic clearcoat. It came out beautifully! They had to stay a couple of hours longer than expected due to the large area they were working on. We couldn't be happier with the result!
Our enclosed pool area is about thirty years old and the deck had spalled a lot, leaving a rough surgace for dirt to gather in, and it had become a real high maintenance item that we were completely bored with. The new finish promises to be in the once a year power wash, or hosing off. Very nice.

I am completely satisfied with the finished product and have received many compliments from the neighbors. Except for a few days of weather problems the work was completed in a timely manner. Mr. Larson knows his business and it certainly shows in his work.

It was a technically difficult job because the house isn't on a slab.  Dave fully informed us of the potential pitfalls before beginning the job.  The floor is beautiful, but a little more delicate than we would have liked.  I opted for the matte finish.  In hindsight, I should have used the polypropylene finish which is shiny, but indestructible.
We gouged the floor while installing the washer and dryer.  I called Dave and he was out the next day to repair it.  A concrete floor is not amenable to repairs like a tile floor would be, so you see the repair if you look for it.  Luckily it is in an unobtrusive location.  We are considering adding the polypropylene sealer now to prevent any further nicks.
Dave was friendly, reliable, and responsive.  He was trustworthy and did most of the work while we were not home.  He left everything neat and tidy.

Our driveway, facing a major thoroughfare, had gotten increasingly damaged and needed a 'facelift'. Replacing and re-pouring of the entire area(s) was outside of our budget. After researching several contractors, we decided on licensed and insured Concrete Visions, decorative concrete resurfacing of Merritt Island, 321-288-7155.

Owners Donna and Dave Larson explained their process, and showed photos of completed work, as well as providing several references, (who I checked out!). Dave and his son Richie were prompt, cheerful and courteous and welcomed any questions and concerns.

Although hampered by inclement weather, each workday resulted in continued careful maintenance of our property and a pride in design and overall results.

The transformation was amazing! Neighbors and friends comment that we are the showplace of the block.

We have already provided several referrals, even to 'drive-by' potential clients.

Concrete Visions gave us an estimate on redoing or pool deck using an acrylic concrete paint (Hand C product). My wife and I have a pool deck and separate back patio whose combined surface area is approximately 1500 square feet. It was in need of repainting or resurfacing and in the case of the pool deck, extensive substrate preparation was going to be needed to use what we had. Otherwise we would have had to jackhammer a big portion of the deck up and have a new slab poured. Alternatively we could use pavers and ignore underlying problems,,, for now at least. We were open to learn what each of the contractors who bid for the work had to say about their recommendations. We had interviewed a few companies who had all suggested we use pavers, which my wife and I were not too excited about using in our case. We could have done that with the pool deck but not for the back patio outside of our bedroom. Pavers also would have created an awkward transition from our pool deck to our back porch. My suspicion is that the companies that recommended pavers were doing so because they knew what type of prep work would have been needed to otherwise apply stamped concrete or do an acrylic refinish job and none of them were up for it or had the skilled workforce on hand to attempt it. We had interviewed another stamped concrete company and then Concrete Visions. Both concrete refinishing companies said they could do the job. They both told us that there would be several days of prep work to assure that we would have a solid substrate before they would apply their product but they were both confident that they could give us a durable job that would last "for years." Neither claimed that they could guarantee that we would not have cracks but both said that they were confident that they could perform adequate preparation and provide a finished product whereby any future cracks should be easily adressed. Substrate preparation is critical for this kind of job. Our pool deck, poured concrete slabs, is probably at least 40 years old and there was plenty of sagging and cracking that has happened over the years. In some sections the sagging and pitching between slabs was quite significant--3 inches in one place. We chose Concrete Visions because after having spent some time discussing with Dave Larson what was needed to get the job done right and how he would go about his work, I was confident he was going to do the work that was needed to make our project come out the way we wanted it to look and feel with minimal chance that we would have significant cracking or delamination in the future for many years to come. Also, while Dave said that he could do stamped concrete for us, his recommendation was to go with the acrylic concrete paint because any future cracks in the surface could be easily repaired whereas stamped concrete could be more difficult depending on what type of pattern were used. Dave and his wife Donna both run the business and were very pleasant to work with. They are professional in how they handle their business. My call to request a quote was followed up shortly with a call back. Our scheduled appointment was followed up by a courtesy call to confirm that our appointment at our home for the quote was still a go for our schedules. Following our interview with them and all the others, and after we had determined that we would like to proceed further with Concrete Visions, Dave and Donna invited us to come to their home to work on final details of our contract including color and design selection. Their home is a showroom for their product and services. Dave is in our view extremely talented in his craft. There is a lot that he can do with decorative concrete as well as with stamped concrete. We will likely have Concrete Visions back to do the work on our porch at some point. The job that Concrete Visions did for us was estimated initially without knowing what may lie beneath our pool deck delaminating paint job was spec'd out by Dave and Donna to take 5-6 days. The price for the job was set with this expectation. Dave gave warning and I agreed that we would proceed knowing that we might encounter problems that we would only fully appreciate once the surface was stripped completely and we were down to a durable substrate with which he MUST have to be able to apply his product. We did encounter one such problem when he could finally see the degree to which the slabs had sagged in one area. We chose to have him continue with the work after having thoroughly discussed our options, including stopping the job here in the beginning where we would proceed with pavers or repouring a slab. We chose to continue with the plan we had after thorough discussion with Dave and getting his honest estimation of his ability do the right job given the new circumstances. The upshot was that the job that had been originally estimated for 5-6 days ended up taking about 12. Dave and his employee worked the job from start to finish themselves (Donna pitched in on the painting at one point too). These guys worked VERY hard everyday straight through. My wife and I were VERY impressed with their work ethic and effort. We offered to pay reasonable added costs based on the new issues that were discovered as they stripped the deck for us. Dave only asked for and additional $200 to cover materials for the slurry needed to reinforce the job and only after I brought the subject up, not he. Otherwise, the price we had agreed to was the price we paid even though it took them twice as long to do the work. The care and attention they paid to the final paint job that my wife and I designed was excellent, very crisp edges and all paint cut in well to the details with no spills. They removed most materials and left the rest of our home otherwise undamaged from the work they performed with the understanding that rain and lawnmower would take care of a lot of the dust and paint on the grass in areas; I would give them a B- for final cleanup. They likely would have removed more material if we had asked but we didn't so it's not a negative in our view. My wife and I highly recommend this company for their services
