It went well.

The work they did was good. I expect to pay a fair price and to have an itemized bill stating what exactly they did. They will not respond to my request for an itemized bill. Also I want 4 lights changed out. No response. Once they have your money, they don’t back up the work they do.

Very responsive and professional and got the job done. Only complaint was price, which seemed a little excessive for the level of effort. I have numerous properties and work with electricians frequently. I would have expected maybe $350 max for these minor repairs. $125/hr for a elect with a helper seems typical. This work appears closer to $200/hr plus parts. But, they showed up and got the work done when I needed it, so I’m still giving them an “A” overall. If their prices were better I would send them a lot more work.

Very professional, as well as very personable! Arrived at scheduled time, removed and/or replaced every light fixture in our home, as well as those on the outside. Took ALL cartons and unwanted light fixtures with them for disposal, which was a big help to us. Left the rooms as clean as they had found them. Had them return a week later to install a fan/light fixture, plus additional bathroom lights we had overlooked on first visit. Will most definitely use again for ANY electrical need. Was a pleasure to have them in our home. NOTE: Cost includes electrical fixtures and parts we asked them to purchase for us.

Jim and Nina were excellent. They were so professional and gave us a fair price for all this work. They gave us ideas on how to save money. They came when they said they would & did a fantastic job. I feel like I have a new home once the work was completed. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. We wanted to be up to code with all our electric, and Jim is really honest and tells you like it is. Having electrical work done is very important and can directly impact your life if something goes wrong, so you want someone you can trust which is Choice Electrical.

We got them from Angie's List. We were not satisfied with them because they were very, very expensive. They had been here twice in the past year. It was a man and his wife. We were not happy with what they charged to do what they did. We are probably not going to use them again. Their price was very high. With regards to the quality, they did good work. They are nice people but they just charge too much money.

My first impression was not a good one and I should have went with my gut instinct. I thought he was gonna have heart failure when he looked at my panel. That was my mistake, as I am a single women I feel as though this company took total advantage of me. I first was given a quote of 1100 dollars when they came out to look at my panel , all of a sudden it had to be moved literally 3 to 5 inches over which was an additional 650 dollars, so now my total is 1750. I know nothing about electrical work so I took them at their word. I had an hvac friend of mine come out because I needed some work done in that area. He needed to see my electrical panel for the AC come to find out my panel has only one breaker for the AC and the other breaker is in the attic. So basically I paid 1750 for a panel that doesn't even have the ability to turn off my outside unit. Oh by the way I have two breakers that they couldn't tell me what they go to plus outlets that don't work. However I did receive a proposal on how much more it would cost to fix them. I did call choice electric and was told that was not part of the panel however I could have them do it for an additional fee. Choice electric didn't even try to come up with a solution to this problem on credibility and workmanship only solution was to charge me to have my panel done right. I never received the inspectors sign off either. Oh and I never received a 10 percent discount for finding them on Angie's list either. My suggestion to anyone looking into using this company would be to get second and third quotes. I would use them if your a single women or elderly either as I think they really try to take advantage of this group of people.

had an issue with my washing machine and after the tech came out to check he found it was the electrical work in the laundry room not the washing machine.  I went right to angie's list, called choice based on the great reviews and they said they would be out around 12:30pm.  we received a call much earlier saying that they were finished with the job they had been on and asked if they could come sooner.  they arrived and were very friendly and went right to work.  they checked the electrical box and the outlet, changed out the outlet and all went well.  I had an issue with my garbage disposal as well and within a few seconds it was discovered that it was just stalled from a piece of plastic.  they were happy to help out.  I would definitely call them again if I have any other electrical issues.  great service, wonderful friendly people!

The owners Jim and Nina came to my house the same morning we talked.  They called before arriving, arrived when they said they would.  They were very courteous and professional, had a nice truck and pletny of tools.  They were a team effort and they worked together excellently.  They installed four chandeliers two of which were very big, expesnive and complicated.  They had to overcome several obstacles on those two but handled it fine.  they also repaired 4 GFI outdoor outlets.  They were great!  Highly recommend them. They were great!  Highly recommend them. 

Jim and Nina showed up as promised (actually a little earlier) and immediately got to work.  They completed a very professional installation efficiently and did a good post-job clean-up.    They came back later to support permit inspection of the  job.  Jim and Nina are a great team. and I am very satisfied with the installation.

Chance Electrical returned my call, scheduled an appointment, and showed up at the appointed time. Husband and wife team worked together to quickly remove four old smoke detectors and install new ones in our new villa. They came prepared with an extra tall ladder to replace the one located on a 16' high cathedral ceiling. They also installed a new electrical outlet so that I could use extra space inside a walk-in closet for an ironing board and sewing machine. They worked fast, cleaned up, and were a nice, pleasant couple to deal with. I'd hire them again.

Called late yesterday afternoon and they came the following day.  Made appointment with a 12 to 1 pm window and they called and said they could come earlier which was great.  They replaced the ballast quickly and had my lights working within 15 minutes.  I felt the cost was fair and they did provide me a $12.50 discount for mentioning Angie's List.  I will definitely use them again if I have any other electrical issues in my condo

This team was very professional, very personable and clearly very competent in their profession.  In fact, I called around 4 PM hoping to get an appointment the next day.  Nina was able to fit me in but then called back and asked if they could come right away.  They came and in an hour the problem was fixed.  I and my wife were most impressed.

They came 1 hour after I called and repaired both boxes. They knew what they were doing and I'm very happy with their work and would use them again.

I needed extra electrical outlets on my porch, they gave me time frame for their visit, showed up promptly at scheduled time, gave me correct and reasonable price estimate and did a great quality job very fast and efficiently, than cleaned all the dirt left over, everything looked so good, I would definitely use their services In a future as well as recommend to anyone else.
