Everything was absolutely excellent. They gave an estimate of the repairs and maintenance which thankfully was right on with no unforeseen additional problems and expenses. They really know what they are doing, are reasonably priced and get it done in a reasonable amount of time. I always, always get more than one estimate and was certainly pleased with their prices and quality of work.

Whitton Roofing did a fine job with a complete reroofing of my home in 1999 so I hired them back to reroof the front of my home because of leaks. We've been through a half dozen hurricanes in the last 14 years and several limbs hit the roof, which accounts for the broken and rotting decking boards. They estimated it to be a one day job, but after arriving at 8:00 as promised the first day, the clouds piled up and they had to stop at 1:30 PM due to rain and lightning in the area. They quickly covered the stripped roof with plastic so it wouldn't lead into the attic. They started at 7:20 the next morning and finished early afternoon after replacing 120 ft of 1x6" pine decking boards. Although the rotten decking was an additional charge, according to the contract, I felt the charges were appropriate and reasonable.

All of the work men were courteous.

Prompt with estimate. Explained possible extra charge depending on how much wood needed replacing.Completed the work in two days and cleaned up all debris. Based on their work, I then opted to have them repair part of the roof of my house that needed it. I was also very satisfied with that work.

It has been over 3 weeks with no call. I will go elsewhere for the $10,000 roofing job.

He quickly responded, set up a time to meet and was on time to the meeting. He quickly assessed the roof, looked at materials I had to see if they could be of any use, and let me know when the work would be done.I did not need to be at home, and he mailed me an invoice for the services.

Overall the project went very well with the exception of a couple of rain delays. The crew showed up on time, were very courteous and worked hard to get the roof replaced despite brutal summer temperatures.County inspections passed without issue.The roof looks great and the debris was cleaned up nicely including , cleaning out the gutters and filling in ruts left by the trucks.
I would definitely recommend this company to others and would use them again.

I have called them twice with no response. If they don't want to do the job why don't they just tell me that so I could move on and call another company? Finally came out to estimate. Have not heard back for three days.

Tom Whitton is really honest. A lot times when I have problems he comes out to repair my roof. He doesn't try to sell me a whole new roof. Everybody else who came out to look at my roof said I needed a new one except him.

They were very professional and prompt. Their price was very good. I would recommend them. I called them because of the comments on Angie's List.

Tom Whitton worked with me to find roof shingles that produced the look I wanted while staying within price. He was thorough in repair of damaged roof deck, cleaned up well, and finished the job promptly.

He did a good job at the price he said he was going to do the job at. He showed up on time and I had good communication with him. Overall, he did quality work.

Owner came out and checked the roof, and gave me an estimate. Work was done within the week. Prompt and courteous, reasonable price.

The roofing contractor elected to not go up on the roof and gave me an estimate for roofing work from the ground. He was nice enough but his estimate was higher than the other 3 contractors.

They were prompt at arriving for the estimate, and did a very thorough job, correctly noticing the rotten decking without me having to point it out. The estimate matched the final cost exactly. They performed the work on the day promised (not an easy task for roofers in Florida during the summer rains), and the roofing job looks professional and has had no trouble for the last year.

They quoted $4000. They were a little bit slow to respond. I want to stay away from the owner; I have known him for a long time. He has been doing roofing for about 20 years. I had seen his work. We have not had the work done yet. We have not decided if we will go with them or probably do it ourselves. Finance is our problem.

Mr Whitton came out, gave a very resonible, honest quote and the contract was done with a handshake. He returned in the time frame discussed and repaired the damage as described. Cost was exactly as quoted.

We found them to be very professional, efficient, and friendly. They were willing to work with us on time tables and always arrived on time or early. They accommodated many special requests (e.g., pausing to allow access to crawl space before applying new roof). They also were very conscientious and left our home and yard without debris. We would definitely recommend them again, and already have to friends!

I have been using him for almost 35 years. He is very professional and gets everything done when he say he is going to do it. I always get three estimates and he always comes low and does a great job. There were lots of rods in the roof and he did a great job of repairing the roof and doing carpentry work. He did a flat roof for me once and did a great job on that too.
