I was a little disappointed on the scheduling but all in all it went pretty good.

One of the windows leaked. The leak caused damage to the hardwood floor by the window. Home Depot acknowledged this but said they were not liable since they subcontracted out the installation to a third party. i signed my contract with Home Depot, not some other party. Yet they told me go deal with the third party. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office and am trying to assess whether it is worth hiring a lawyer to sue them for the damages. This is an unscrupulous business practice. I like to shop in their stores but would never recommend hiring their At Home Services Division. Get a reputable local contractor instead.

We have always done great work for us. We use them because we like the way they work with us. They always stand by their work and will come back to make sure everything is done right.

The product was excellent but there was one window that wasn't done right. When they came back to do the window they still didn't put that one in correctly. Since I am the original buyer of the windows they are covered as long as I am in this house. I am really comfortable in my house now and they saved us alot of money. I am now comfortable in my house!

We got 5 estimates for replacing our existing countertops with granite. Home Depot gave use the best value for our money. Home Depot gave us price of $67 per square foot for class "C" granite... which was less than another home improvement store ($72/sq ft) and only slightly more than the $62/sq ft that Corinthian Counters and RWR Granite gave. We were lucky in that Home Depot had a special such that the "ogee" edging was free... a $2000 value in our case! Additionally, they had a Memorial day sale that cut an additional $300 off the price. We saved about $700 by removing the countertops ourselves (Home Depot charges $7/sq ft) and another $400 by doing the plumbing ourselves. We also liked that the estimating for the project was just done at the Home Depot store. As were convinced when private companies come to our house and see that we live in a nice neighborhood... they jack up the price. The templates were made 1 week after we signed. Installation took 1 day. Very easy process.
