Sears

Was quoted $90 for the service. Was told that the $90 included diagnostics and minor labor. Talked to the repairman before he arrived and asked that he call me if it exceeded the $90. The repairman defrosted the line and charged me $240 total. There was no call back about the additional charge. Completely unauthorized. Now I have to fight Sears on the charge.

They had the part that they needed to replaced that was a plus for me cause they fixed everything in one trip.

My experience with them has been good. Their price was right. It was excellent. It is not their fault, be we've got problems with one of the appliances. Their responsiveness was good.

They had the best choice. We just shopped around and that is where we ended up. The price was average.

Had old refrigerator which stopped cooling. It was easy to make appointment and Sears repairman was punctual, but he did not seem to put a lot of effort into trying to solve my problem. Since the fridge was not running, he said could not tell whether it needed a thermostat or other part and he could replace both parts at cost over $300. I declined, and was given a credit to buy a new fridge at Sears which would have covered most of my repair call cost - that was nice. However, my husband was able to buy thermostat for $50 and replace himself and it is now working fine, so we did not use the store credit and thus paid $79 for not very helpful repair call.

We needed new appliance and Sears said it would cost more or close to fixing the appliances instead of buying new appliances.

We were very unhappy and will not purchase anything from Sears in the future that might require their support after the sale.

No matter what they are coming out to fix, the service call is $100.00 for their service calls. If the door bell breaks, and it takes the man 5 minutes, it is the same fee. However, if they have to come out and completely rebuild your fridge, it is still $100.00. They run through American Home Shield. I will absolutely use them again. This is a franchise, so the contractors and experiences vary. I have found them to be fantastic, no matter where I used them.

They were absolutely wonderful they came when they were supposed to. They showed me things about the appliances, they were wonderful.

Fixed the refrigerator several times.
Fixed the microwave, and put in a new garbage disposal.
I trust them, and have never had a problem.
They are on time, friendly, professional, and don't rip you off.
