Gracie the stylist told my granddaughter she could color her naturally blonde hair to a light shade of purple as Rylie requested. The process took five hours (twice as long as quoted), she toned her hair twice, charged me $381.00, and there is no purple in Rylie's hair. It is still blonde just like when she came in the Salon. I tried to work this out with Gracie the stylist but she refused to work with me. She only offered to have Rylie come back again and she would do her hair for free. It's not free, I already paid almost $400.00 and her hair is still blonde no purple in it at all. If she couldn't get the job done in the five hours Rylie was there on December 23, 2020 I have no confidence she can do it with more time. I offered to only take 1/2 of the money back since she did cut her hair and blow dry it that day but Gracie wouldn't even do that. This is exceedingly poor customer service. I gave her every opportunity to make this right but she refused.

Andrew really listened to what I asked him to do. He took his time and did a great job cutting my hair. The low lights and hight lights look very natural which is just what I wanted!

I was a new client and SARAH (awesome hairdresser) took my hair from totally damaged to brand new !
I had over bleached, broken ended, dead hair.
Sarah took the time to find out exactly what I wanted and carefully went through my hair piece by piece and fixed a huge part of what had been done over the years.
I left Roots with a completely new look that was exactly what I hoped for.
I will go back every month and never go to anyone else.

Sarah was great. I really appreciated the fact that she took time to listen to me. She questioned me in order to make sure I ended up with exactly the look that I wanted. She also gave me options to get the color that I wanted. I am so happy with the color and cut. She did a fantastic job and I will be going back. Thank you Sarah.

Most excellent! The hairstylist(Andrea) had cut my hair about a month earlier for the 1st time, Significance being I hadn't had a chance to cut it for nearly 3 months! She whipped it back into shape .She listened and cut it exactly the way I wanted it.

So, this one was a breeze. The salon is large and very accommodating ( I'm using a walker at present and had no problem using shampoo bowl as well as the restroom).

I chose to try Rootz Hair Salon because of other positive reviews on Angie's List. Previously, I had received a bad permanent at by a stylist at a different place of business. At Rootz, Sarah listened was responsive to the kind of cut that I wanted and spent a lot of time fixing the effects of the bad permanent. Because I am 'stylistically challenged', she took extra time demonstrating styling techniques that I could reproduce at home. I had a wonderful first time experience.

Zoe is a young lady who knows how to listen. To me that's imperative. My hair has been abused by incorrect products and procedures. Zoe listened, understood and did just what I asked her for and the best part: she did nothing else.

First of all, this place is now called Rootz Hair Co. and has moved one business block south of its former locale.
I was able to go in just a few hours after calling. Nikki had answered the phone and also was the one to help me. She was very kind and unassuming. Her quiet nature was very different than my last few stylists (other salons) so I wasn't sure how adept she was--the others had been so outgoing and uber-confident. Nikki's results, however, were 5-star in my book. My dried-out hair became shiny and tidy again, the thickness was gone, best bangs trim ever, and not one white hair showed through. My too-light-colored hair became a more natural color and the 5 highlights are perfectly placed. I feel like a new person!
As it got towards 5 p.m., the place got very busy but Nikki stayed focused on me. Her conversation and style was easygoing and I appreciated her not pushing sales of products on me.
I look forward to going back to Rootz in a month for retouch.

I use Lauren at Hair Junction and she's fantastic. They are very courteous. The staff is very professional. They do a wonderful job. The prices are not outrageous. They are probably the best people that I've ever had. The price is average. The quality of service is good. I would continue to use them in the future.
