Leah Jensen, our agent, was very professional, knowledgeable and was very much an advocate for us during the whole selling experience. We were invited to give [member name removed] our opinion of his home value in 2014 and were unable to meet his equity needs given the current market, since the decline that took place in 2012. We provided information only and we were not hired to sell his current home or help him with the purchase of any other home. All we provided was market information."

"Mr [member name removed] asked us to give him information on selling his home. We gave him our opinion of the current value of his property in the current condition along with the affect the market has had on his equity since he purchased his home in October 2006. Mr. [member name removed] refinanced his home in 2010 and is currently in a negative equity position since the downturn of the market in 2012. We understand Mr. [member name removed] can not sell his home for less than he owes, however compared to similar properties the value of his home is approximaely 20% less than he refinanced for in 2010. His property has not been sold and has not been listed by my company or any other company as of 6-21-2014."

Rick Wiedenhoft of KW contacted me about selling my house. I had placed a "for sale by owner" on CL and he called me out of the blue. At first, I was apprehensive about the cold call, but agreed to meet with him anyway. After all, at least he was trying. Rick seemed to be very knowledgeable, friendly and honest...not pulling any punches about the down market and what we should expect. He gave us a list of items on our house to fix or improve, which we did. Our rental house hit the market in Feb. of 2011 and was under contract by the end of March. Rick gave us all the help we needed with inspections, repair, and whatever else we needed.

They advised us on what to do to sell the house, including which colors of paint to choose from, provided us with names of several stagers and did all the things that real estate agents do.

They kept us up on every single aspect. Every time the house was going to be shown we got a call. Every time there any activity they reported on the outcome or feedback from the people who had seen the house. The held open houses every week until the house was sold. Even when the house was under contract, they had open houses until ten days before close. It was very extensive. They were fabulous. They were highly professional. They were very caring and very humble. It was very good mix in the current market. The person who did the photography did a fabulous job. I would have bought the place myself but it was parents. The pictures were so good on the internet. They were very realistic and down to earth. They actually priced the house a little higher than some other real estate agents were going to and we actually made more money that way. They knew their market. They knew the area they were serving very very well. They adopted every resource to bring it to a close and to get the maximum amount. They weren't being pushy on anyone. They were very up front, very business minded, but very caring. They wanted to make sure they could do the best job. They were professional and courteous. The humility was very refreshing.

Russell Nolting was prompt to respond and kept the appointment as scheduled. He was very good in telling us what he could do to show our house and giving us a listing amount. He did not indicate what we should do for improvements. Later, in a subsequent telephone conversation he said he would have given us items to do for preping the house if we had chosen to list with him. We did not list with him as we wanted an agent whose office was closer to where we lived.

Matt Marks was amazing. He helped us sell our house at near asking price and helped us buy a new one at a greatly reduced price. He was flexible with our schedules, showed us over 100 homes before we purchased one, and found the perfect house for us.
