Ralph Carpenter Roofing was AMAZING starting from William who professionally explained the whole process from start to finish, shingle colors, work process, warranty, etc. The site supervisor Santiago and crew were fantastic and always on time. Ralph Carpenter and his roofing company were amazing. I dreaded starting this project as I had just been widowed. I was treated wonderfully, and they did an excellent job. When the wind mitigation company came to do their inspection and report they told me that Ralph Carpenter Roofing did excellent work consistently and that when the inspectors needed new roofs Ralph Carpenter was their guy!!! After hurricane Matthew weakened our old roof, we started our search for a good company to replace it. There were offers from some fly-by-night roofers who could do the job right away. They didn’t even bother to go up there to inspect it. Ralph not only walked the roof, but gave us a very detailed description of the work to be done. We decided he was the best man even though we had to wait months for him to get to us. It was worth the wait. The employees were all very capable, hard working men who finished and cleaned up just a few days before hurricane irma struck. We did not lose even one shingle to that storm. I would recommend him highly, very professional and reasonable price.

The day after the hurricane, I called 9 roofers and heard back from one...Ralph Carpenter. Ralph came right over and began going from house to house doing roof inspections. He ddn't charge a penny for the inspection and his fees for repairs were very reasonable. By midday, he called in three crews to begin repairs. Within 10 days, Ralph had inspected and repaired nearly 100 roofs in our community. We cannot express our gratitude for his professionalism, reasonable pricing and dedication to doing what he says he will do. If we could give him a higher score we sure would! The fee below is the average for replacing sme shingles and sealing some roof vents. Some in our community had more extensive damage and their costs were higher based on their repair.

Excellent, crew was polite, responsive and motivated. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and the roof looks fantastic. All work performed on time and the crew did an excellent job of leaving my property clean of all construction debris.

The wood in an inner overhang corner area of our roof near our front door -- the soffit on up to the shingles -- had been rotting due to moisture, since the are does not have gutters (we are now clearly getting gutters to prevent a repeat rot situation). We called Ralph Carpenter Roofing (on the recommendation of All Pro Seamless Rain Gutters) and Shane came out to give us the estimate; he also did the actual repair/rebuilding several days later.  Shane was professional and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He removed the shingles, drip edge and bad wood and replaced and repaired it all in a few hours. The fix ended up being worse than he initially thought, but he honored the original estimate of $700.

We had only 10 days to have the whole roof replaced, or our loan would not be approved. Ralph worked with us, putting us on top of his work order list, and completed the whole job in less than 10 days. They were so professional.

Came on time, workers were polite and competent. They photographed every step of the process from removal to replacement. I was give a CD with 112 photos of my roof project so I could see what was done and how it was done without having to be up on the roof myyself. very helpful to me in selecting the best roofing materials for my needs. I have recommended him to 3 other folks who have also used him and were equally pleased.

They came out gave us an estimate and replaced our shingled roof with another shingled roof. They also replaced some rotten ply wood on the roof.

Gus from Ralph Carpenter Roofing came by 2 days after I requested an estimate. He was thorough in his assessment of the issue, and walked the entire roof to point out other issues such as loose screws in the ridge vents, exposed nails on other protrusions, etc. He wrote an estimate with a 5 year warranty, and I signed off to have the work done ASAP.
The following week, Gus was at the house several mornings. He tore up the affected shingles, installed the proper kick out flashing, replaced the shingles with a perfect match, had the stucco around the repair patched. He also replaced the soffit vent with the proper size, and replaced the damaged fascia. All the ridge vents were re-secured with roofing screws, and all exposed nail heads sealed.
The invoice, which matched the initial estimate, arrived in the mail with a CD containing pictures of the work in progress and final result. Overall and excellent job, and I would absolutely recommend them.
Since the repair we've had several heavy rain storms, with no sign of additional water intrusion in the affected area.

Ralph and his crew were very courteous and did a good job. The old roof was 15 years old and did not meet the new hurricane codes. It took 8 work days to do the whole job. There were several areas with rotted wood decking due to water leaks in the roof. They repaired all of the rotted areas. The worst area was the chimney where the stucco had cracked and the whole side of the chimney was rotted and had to be rebuilt. Birds had pecked the fascia board away where it met the chimney and had gotten into the chimney. It is so nice to not have critters getting into the chimney now. They also repaired a broken toilet vent pipe in the attic that had occasionally let toilet fumes into the house (not good). All of the roof vents were replaced with new and painted to match the roof. Ralph and his crew replaced the flashing around the chimney the right way so that you can't tell it had ever been worked on. They also provided two CDs with over 100 photos of the whole job from start to finish which is a very nice touch. Its been almost a year now since the work was completed and we have not had any issues at all with the new roof. Best of all, the homeowner's insurance premium dropped $900 per year for bringing the roof up to code. We are very happy with the work and glad we made the investment as we feel much better about hurricane season than we did with the old roof.
