The inspection process was fine, but the customer service after was terrible. We ended up paying twice for the inspection service on accident. We paid online and then without knowing it was already done, I paid again on site after the inspection. Multiple emails and calls to Amy went unresolved despite her promise to rectify the situation. We ended up disputing the charges with one of our credit card providers and Priority denied the claim. Only after we disputed it with the second charge credit card provider and Priority failed to dispute the claim, did we get our money back..

The home inspector pulled in the sprinkler system in our vacant home when doing an inspection for prospective buyers, never unplugged it and actually recorded on the inspection report the system didn't work when it does! We received a $163.00 water bill from the city for the water from the sprinkler system (which our realtor had to go unplug after he noticed sprinklers on weeks later). We had 0 water usage each month before the inspection and each month since as the home is vacant- bills to prove- called the company multiple times-  for 2 weeks only a message machine then a woman who kept taking messages for the owners who were supposed to call me that evening. It has been another 2 weeks. I called again, the woman said there is nothing she can do if they don't want to call... I said it has been a month of trying to get a resolution and that it was unacceptable business practice. She said nothing. I tried filing a complaint with the BBB but of course they are not accredited or listed on BBB website. So disappointing considering they are supposed be a veteran owned business! No customer service, no way to run a business!
Response from PRIORITY HOME INSPECTIONS
"we are very sorry that your sale did not go through. We understand Sellers get very upset over this. The report noted the sprinkler system DID NOT WORK AT THE TIME OF THE INSPECTION> The inspectors left the sprinkler system unplugged- they leave the property as they find it. There was a huge crowds at the inspection- no one from your side showed up- The Buyers father was upset that the sprinkler system did not work during the inspection. Anyone could have gone back out to try it again. We again are very sorry the sale did not go through for you all- if you make the corrections we suggested I am sure you can get the home sold and be happy to move forward. We wish you the best of luck with your future and selling the home."

They did very thorough job. They were prompt. I like the fact that it is a veteran owned business. I felt like I got really good customer service and they go the extra mile. They do a wind inspection for the insurance required in Florida. They also set up a pest inspection.

Excellent. Matt Hawley arrived early and got right to work. He surveyed the house and area, gave initial impressions, and then spent the next 3 1/2 hours completing the inspection. He noted those areas he could not inspect because equipment (water pump) missing and offered to do a re-inspection at no cost when these areas were operational. Matt had the lastest technology and took the time to show us what he was measuring and described in layman's terms what was revealed. He took extensive photographs, examined the home from stem to stern, and gave a detailed verbal summary at the end of the inspection. Matt indicated that the written report would be available within 24 hours of completion of the inspection and he delivered on that as well, sending a comprehensive report via email. I cannot overstate how impressed and pleased we are with services provided by this company and Matt Hawley.

Outstanding. Matt and assistant inspector demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise. They provided detailed explanations of the inspection process, discrepancies discovered, suggestions for correcting findings, and positive aspects of the home.
