Excellent job!!! Staff were all professional, polite and diligent workers.
Here are my notes:
5/21/15 - Called Construction Office: 321-254-4555. Representative coming out at 4 pm on Tuesday, 5/26.
6/1/15 Called last week re references and they said Rep would be back to me that day. It didn't happen. I called today and said that I was interested but not without references and Pinch a Penny was not enough. Girl answering phone said she would email them to me today.
6/17/15 Got email, called reference shortly after this and they were superb. Hired. Went down, completed contract and gave deposit $400. Told them I was going away and had to wait until the pool area was cleared by landscaper before they could start. They are working 4 weeks out. Will call when complete.
7/15/15 Called and let receptionist know that pool landscaping would be done by Friday. She will have Rep call me to schedule work. Told her that I was aware that there was a 4 week delay.
8/11/15 Paradise left message for me on this day, a Sunday. I didn't get it.
8/12/15 Called back when I got home from trip on Tuesday. 8/12/15 They came to start emptying pool.
8/13/15 They came back to work on pool, emptying, cleaning, etc.
Took about a 4-5 days to complete the work and, boy, did they do a great job!!!!
Staff all delightful people. Will definitely use them again.
The employee came again and took his water sample, calibrated my new board for the aquarite and at my request finally fixed the pump timer by replacing the actual time mechanism. After speaking to the manager on the phone she confirmed that the water was balanced, did not apologize and hung up on me. The bill was enormous but I paid it promptly. I haven't verified that the bill is too high, I did not call around for prices but it was more than $700. Since then, the chlorine levels have been way too high. The board is supposed to regulate it. My daughter called them for me because I didn't want to talk to them again. She asked about the board and the excessive amount of chlorine. A woman again told her it was our fault, that we should turn it off and on again. As if we wouldn't try something so basic. That we aren't balancing the water properly, etc. My daughter started to say she should probably try calling someone else when the woman said ok and hung up on her.
I can't imagine why anyone would give them an A for anything. Yes, it was fixed but at such a cost of money and frustration. Now we have so much chlorine we can't use the 5000 gal pool and haven't been able for most of the summer. How are these reviews made? I relied on them this time, but will be more careful in the future.
