4/6/2017 I paid $4,384.86 for a mattress, (Beautyrest Black/Natasha)from Mattress Barn West Melbourne, FL; received on 4/15 (11 days after purchase) I was very excited with my new acquisition but unfortunately couldn't sleep that night, the mattress felt very uncomfortable for me, I don't like it at all and wanted to return it. I called the store the following day but were closed (was Sunday); gave my Beautyrest another try and was worse, I wanted to return it. I called Monday to let them know, the person answering the phone was John, he claimed to be the office manager, after interrupted me before I finished my explanation, he was literally forcing me to keep it, stating that it'll take some time for my body to adjust to the new mattress, and blah blah blah, to call again after 2 weeks, I asked him what can we do different in 2 weeks if I feel the same and his answer was that in 2 there is nothing I can do because the mattress will be considered used (for real???) When he realized I was firm in my decision, he asked me to call Jason (the salesman) the following day; after several phone calls, finally Jason talked to me and came with the same crap trying to convince me to keep the mattress, after long time on the phone he couldn't convinced me then he said he will talk to the owner; few days passed with me calling every day trying to find out what the "owner's decision" was, one day Jason said that the owner "agreed" to exchange it, but definitely no refund or return. Tired of this and of sleeping in my son's bed, I went to the store to select another mattress which by the way he clearly said HAVE TO BE equal or greater price, I paid an additional $325 plus another $100 delivery fee for a tempurpedic mattress which I still waiting on today 5/12/2017. I don't know until what point it is true that a mattress cannot be returned and of course that they don't want to lose the sale but come on... I could paid the same amount direct from tempurpedic with 90 days free trial and return with no question asked. I believed I deserve at least some compensation for all the inconveniences and the time I'm wasting and one month of bad sleep.

Great overall experience.
Description of Work: Both sales persons involved were professional and attentive. We were really torn between this bed and a sleep number but this one won hands down. You see the commercials about sleeping on a cloud. Well let me tell you they really mean it. We love our mattress!

I explained to John my circumstances and that I liked a soft, pillow-top, queen-size mattress. He found me one that I've used a month now and it's a beauty and I sleep like a baby on it. Plus when the apt. I had rented got flooded out in Tropical Storm Fay, he stored it for me until I found a new apt. and then delivered it when I could use it. Good service. Good product.
