I took in a German Wall clock with weights and chimes.  The clock was not broken, it worked ok but it was my Grandmother's and it was in desperate need of a good cleaning.  The chain was very old and rusted.  The weights were tarnished and needed cleaning as did the pendulum.  I dropped off the clock in May 2015.  Many weeks went by and I did not hear from the store.  I called and asked about my clock.  He couldn't locate it.  He kept asking me "is it a Cuckoo clock"?   I told him no, it was just a wall clock with weights and it chimes.  He kept insisting he didn't have a clock like that.  He asked me if I was sure I brought it to his clock shop.  Luckily, he gave me a ticket with a number so I told him I had the ticket and read him off the number.  He agreed that was his ticket number and said he would look for it and call me tomorrow.  Needless to say he DID NOT call me the next day, I called him and he said he found the clock and he would have it finished that week.  Over the next few months I had a family emergency and had to go to NJ.  I was gone for quite a while.  I came back and began calling about my clock but no one EVER answered the phone. I called every day for almost 2 weeks.  Finally I decided to just drive there and pick up my clock.  When I arrived I gave him the ticket and said I just want to pick up my clock.  The guy went into the back and called out to me "It's done".  He brought my clock to me and the chain was still rusty, the weights had obviously not been cleaned nor the pendulum.  I asked him what exactly did he clean?  He stated he cleaned the mechanism.  I said when I dropped it off I wanted the chain cleaned and the weights and pendulum.  He proceeded to tell me that he can't do that...........NOBODY can.  If I wanted the chain replaced he could do that.  I asked him what I owed him and paid him $95.00 for a very poor job.  I would not recommend that anyone take a clock to this repair place.  I took my clock immediately to another clock shop and I will let you know how that works out.

I love this little shop. I took my family heirloom clock in and as soon as I was in the shop I knew it was the right place. The shop has amazing clocks for sale and it was very obvious the owner loves his clocks and my clock too. I had to wait about a month for him to get to my little clock as it is a rare talent and special skill to repair the works in these old clocks but when I called back in 4 weeks my clock was ready right when he told me it would be.
It is back on my wall now and it has never kept better time. It is a 7 day clock so needs to be wound once a week and chimes right on time every hour and the half. I could not be more pleased.
This is an A++++++++++ repair shop and if you have to trust someone with your family treasure this is the place to go. I am looking forward to purchasing a clock from Randall in the future. When you go to see him plan on some extra time to browse this little shop on the corner. It will be worth it.

It went well. We weren't real thrilled with the time, over two months, to get our clocks back. However he told us up front that it would be a few months. The clocks are working very well so we are very pleased.

It was good. They treated me fairly. It took me a little longer. I went there a second time to see where it was in the work. They did not call me or anything but they did fix it and they fixed it well it just took longer than I thought it should.
