Island Tile & Marble Inc

Island Tile hired and incompetent installer. The floor had to be ripped out and replaced. The shower grouting is not acceptable and the shower floor has a large dip that they refuse to fix. Misaligned tiles in the shower walls, etc. I hired them because I thought it was important to hire someone who is rated an A on Angies List. Did not meet the challenge. Be careful hiring these guys to perform the installation. Apparently it's a crap shoot which installer you get.

They held the lot of tile for us until we needed it. They helped us figure out all materials we needed. They arranged for a delivery person to deliver all supplies to our garage. I saw the tile for almost twice the price other places. Even better than online.

Jim & crew did an excellent job.  Absolutely no complaints from start to finish.

We picked out tile, he worked like a dog getting the Spanish tile up in foyer, removed carpet, prepped floor & installed new tile. While the tile wasn't expensive, the job he did makes it look like it was.
The owner is super nice, all the employees are helpful, & selection is great. Would definitely use again!

I have been to this store on three occasions in the past couple years. I visited their Outlet Store next to the main store. The prices are very affordable, and the tile selection is very good. All three times the gentlemen helping me have been more than helpful. I could not believe I bought all the tile, including bullnose, to redo my large shower for $200.00. Can't beat that price. They make sure you get all the supplies you need as well to complete the job. Highly recommend this outlet.

Their selection is incredible. The service was okay. They were very knowledgeable. Their prices were absolutely competitive.

All contacts during the choosing of the tile was very professional and friendly. The person who arrived to measure was also quite knowledgeable and helpful.
The person(s) sent to do the installation was very professional and efficient. He had over 20 years in the business of laying tile and did a superb job laying out the job and making necessary cuts. Essentially, no joint was required between any wall because of his abilities. He also recommended that more base be installed to make the bathrooms look proper and this was done with no change in the cost of the contract. It was labor and no material increase.
Work was completed on time.
My use of Island Tile was based upon wanting a firm that had been in business for years, was knowledgeable which meant they were not the least expensive supplier, but of quality. The results would be visible for years and I wanted no regrets. I looked for a firm that had a wide variety of tiles and a wide choice of price points. I wanted to hire one firm who would do the complete job and be accountable. Many other people who quoted would require me to hire subcontractors. I got all that I was looking for.

They did a great job.

We were very pleased with Island Tile. Initially, my husband thought he would try to do himself, as he thought the labor was a little high, but it turned out to be worth every penny. The tile we picked out was very difficult to work with and not for the "do-it-yourselfer". John, the installer, was very detail oriented and did a fantastic job with both the tile and marble inset around the window. It looks absolutely beautiful and we would definitely reccomend this business if you are looking for high quality work to be done.
