Long story short, I purchased my current West Melbourne home in 2013. I trusted my second realtor after having a very poor experience with the first one while looking at a home in Viera. John from Honor inspected both homes. He advised me that the one in Viera had significant black mold and even remediation services might not take care of the problem. That realtor was telling me to ‘just use a bucket of bleach water and a cloth; it’ll clean it up’. I changed realtors, selected this home, and there were only very minor issues in need of repair. As a single mother with a demanding career, I needed someone to trust, and by the grace of God, I had my new realtor and John. Shortly after moving in, I had a concern for a bathroom tub faucet. Not knowing who to call, John stopped by and helped. Now, years later, and once again, I needed assistance with my garage side door that’s begun to rot out due to the extremes in weather and heavy rain. I was worried about there being more of a foundational issue. He sent a tech over to examine it and gave me his recommendation. Just replace the door and frame with fiberglass/PVC. Also I need to seal and repaint very soon. He did this all on the same day as my call, and without any hesitation. I am so incredibly thankful for his expertise and ability to understand my concern. If I ever decide to move or buy another property, Honor will be the only inspection service provider I will call again. My sincere thanks to you!

3 person team took nearly 3hrs to complete a very detailed and thorough inspection. Explained issues as they went along and provided a thorough debrief on all areas of the inspection before leaving. Written report arrived in email that evening as promised.

Honor inspection team were very professional. They were on time, all in uniforms and with covid masks! Very thorough, polite, and knowledgeable. Went over results of inspection before they left and sent me a detailed report, complete with photos within hours of the inspection. Would definitely use again!

Mr. Williams did an excellent job inspecting a condo under contract. He is professional and a pleasant person. He was very informative, thorough and gave explanations. The equipment he used was amazing detecting a leak and large area of moisture. The information we gained, and the depth of the inspection, were outstanding. He gave a final briefing at the end of his inspection with supportive pictures. We received the full report the same day! Obviously, cannot say enough...very pleased. Thank you Honor Inspections. Honor Inspection inspected our new home about one or two weeks before closing back in 2017. They also did a wind mitigation. Apparently at that time the front door did not have the hardware for the shutters, so the wind mitigation says I have no protection on the front door. For some reason, the inspector did not point this out to me; I realize it is also my fault for not checking the report thoroughly. My thought at the time was that since they had not said anything, I had no issues. Well now I cannot get a credit for shutters because of that. BTW, I asked them to come out again a year later and it still did not come up. So I spent $800 on inspections and now they want me to pay another $99 for another wind mitigation report. Very disappointed with their customer support.

When your wind mitigation inspection was done during the new construction inspection we of course pointed out the deficiencies. I would have assumed that the insurance company who provided your quote for insurance would have explained what they meant in regards to dollars and cents. Unfortunately, since we aren't licensed insurance agents we can't provide dollar or discount figures. :( It does appear we had a followup/reinspection scheduled for you and it was cancelled. Not sure why? The second time we inspected for you .. was a Warranty inspection and not a wind mitigation inspection. Of course, we had no idea that anything had been changed or updated since our first visit the year before. We are happy to help. I know my office quoted our normal fee of 99.00 to you to update the report at this time (Now 3 years after the original). I am happy to offer to do it for 35.00. I do have to pay my team for the work they do. I am sorry that you are frustrated with us but we do our absolute best given the information we have at the time. Regardless of if you choose to have us help we wish you nothing but the best."
