Gus' Window & Door Maintenance

I dropped the window screens off and gave Gus the measurements for one I was missing. Gus had them ready a week later even though his father in-law passed away within that week. He went above and beyond to finish them in a timely manner.

Very satisfied! Gene from Gus' was on time, knowledgeable, neat and the service was performed flawlessly. Would recommend without reservations.

I initially requested a quote for the repair work.  Ashton came by and gave me an estimate and I then scheduled to have the work done.  Ashton performed the work and everything is working well.  The whole process was conducted professionally and Ashton was extremely courteous and very helpful with information on how to lubricate and care for the windows to ensure longer life for the ballast.

A few minor obstacles were encountered which were handled without too much effort. His many years of experience allowed him to work through the difficulties easily. Job was completed in a timely manner and now my patio door opens and closes with little or no effort on my part. Also he right on time to my delight.

They installed new balances on old window.

I contacted Gus through Angie's List and he responded the next day.  He was able to give me an estimate over the phone and explained if they have the necessary parts on the truck they would fix the windows at the time of the visit.  The other companies I contacted had to come out and obtain the part numbers from the windows, follow up with an estimate, order parts and then return for the repair so Gus' process seemed more efficient for everyone concerned.
Gus said his son-in-law was very experienced and would complete the repairs in under an hour and he was right.  Ashton was very nice and he went straight to work and had all the necessary parts on the truck.  He gave me an explanation for how the mechanism for raising and lowering the windows works, how to maintain the windows and asked me to raise and lower each to be sure I was satisfied before writing the ticket.  All of the other companies indicated they would repair two additional windows in the bedroom but Ashton showed me that those windows did not need repair.  Gus' estimate was in line with what other companies quoted but I saved approximately $70 because two windows didn't need to be fixed.  He charged $85 for the service call/labor and $34.50 per window for parts.
I would recommend Gus' Window and Door to anyone who needs repair or replacement of their windows, sliding doors or screens.  This company has been in business in Brevard County for a long time and it's obvious to me why he enjoys a good reputation in his field.

It went very well. The tech was skilled and fast. Good job!

Gus was great to deal with from the start. He gave a clear estimate over the phone prior to driving all the way to his shop, which is off 192. I brought him 6 screens of various sizes and asked him to make one new one completely. He quoted me just under $120.00 for everything with the upgraded bug proof screen and the price never changed. I dropped the screens off Wednesday and he had them ready on Friday. His work is flawless and the screens look great. To test the screens, I left a light on inside of the house in a room at night with the windows open. Not one bug was found inside. I highly recommend the bug proof screening and I would recommend anyone to Gus to have him replace or create any screens.

Replaced worn out original ball bearings with stainless steel w/rollers for ease in sliding.  Professional and would use again.

Very good, sliding door were almost impossible to move, now glide smoothly, floor to ceiling windows, now are not corroded.

Arrived on time. Provided estimate and received authorization prior to beginning work. Offered a slightly less expensive alternative if I wished, but explained the result that I would experience (a clicking sound as door opened and closed). Work done professionally and with pride in what they do. Cordial and willing to answer any questions I had. I also placed an order for screens which are expected this week. Will update when received.

Great service on our oceanfront sliding glass doors and screens. They were prompt, efficient and competent. They advised us on how to maintain our doors, inspected our windows and screens and really went the extra mile to make sure everything was in order. Really nice people too!
