We had an agreement to that since it was a second home that they would email our invoices and telephone me prior to coming out to spray. Well we had one invoice in January overlap a yard spray so I must have thought that bill was already just paid. Well it turned out they say it wasn't and that they sent an invoice; in January. We I had guest staying at my home and they said I had mail that appeared to be important so I asked them to open it and send me a copy. IT WAS FROM A COLLECTION AGENCY!!! When I called Flowers a sweet lady answered the call and insisted that I was overdue and when I asked how I was invoiced she said I was emailed the ONE invoice in January. But I stated I hadn't from them so I figured I was correct when I paid my January bill; she said no, that was for the previous invoice and insisted I still owed them money. I found out how much and paid immediately. I asked how I was notified I hadn't paid, because I had no emails or telephone calls from them and she said they mail the delinquent statements, now being mailed to a vacant home!!!!!! I said we had an agreement that my bills be emailed and she yes, and they did in January; and admittedly not since and acknowledged they had our telephone number on file. That since January, we would have be notified by U.S. Mail, to my vacant home! Go figure, the lady was short, spoke discerningly, not understanding and non apologetic. She just appeared not to care at all about my GREAT credit ratings and how being referred to a collection agency might hurt someone. I asked why I wasn't called, emailed or texted; she didn't have an answer and wasn't the bit concerned that I would be dropping their so called service.
In final, my yard looks like crap and the lady that represented Flowers Turf, needs to find a job that does't deal with people...find another yard service.
In addition to the lawn service I also use their pest control. I have an indoor cat as well as a dog and wanted to make sure nothing that was toxic would be used. The technician took quite a while explaining their methods and assuring me that my furry friends would indeed be safe. My house if critter free and my animals are healthy.
