They originally installed my solar pool heater, during the estimate visit they painted beautiful picture and I was sold, however after the installation I found a problem, my pool would get quite hot in a summer, but in a winter time it wouldn’t get warm enough to swim in it, I asked the company for help few times, didn’t get much of the solution, was told that I can add few more panels, but they were pricey, so I gave up and was left with pool heater that really doesn’t do what it was intended to do- let us swim most of the year as I was told it would. Few years later I needed to change my roof, and I called company to dissemble the panels, to get the new roof on, took me over a week to get a call back from them, and I was told that they are quite busy so I won’t be able to get it done for another week, but they will send someone over to give me a quote, their quote for disassembly was breathtaking, mind it they don’t put the disassembly cost in their contract, as I was told they can’t do it as prices are going up and they will not be able to predict what it’ll be years later, at the time when they put the panels on. Going to another company would violate my warranty, so I was stuck, when I tried to tell them that they originally told me different price for disassembly, I was called a liar, and when I got upset and put a bad review online, I got a very rude email from the company owner accusing me that I was trying to bully the company into getting better price and that they will not have any business with me any longer, so my warranty was gone, and my new roof assembly was postponed indefinitely. I was devastated, luckily for me I found Affordable Solar Services company, they were simply amazing, when I called they came next day and took panels off for half the price of Excel Solar quote, they stored them safely and reassembled them just as fast when roofing company gave their ok. They were courteous, polite and knowledgeable, they also installed two more panels for a very reasonable price and now my pool heater works as was intended, all was done same day. They really saved the day. They also put down quote for me for any future disassembly, something which Excel Solar told me no one will do. So at the end my loss became a huge gain. Thank you Excel Solar for having the worst customer service. If it wouldn’t been for you, I would still be stuck with you and would not of find this absolutely amazing company.

I called 3 companies to get a solar pool heater estimate. Of the 3 they were the the highest bid, but gave me a military discount which made them more competitive. I chose Excel Solar because they have the best warranty and Randy the salesman had all the answers to my questions. He explained the entire system and showed us samples of the product being used, installation and how to operate it. The installers showed promptly at scheduled time and were very courteous and professional. One of the installers even gave me some advice on my portable Solar generator that was much appreciated. They went way above and beyond. The install went great and done in one day. After the inspection passed with flying colors, Randy came back by and helped me with figuring out my pool plumbing so my pool vacuum and skimmer worked properly. I would highly recommend Excel solar for your Solar Pool Heater needs.

We had gotten an estimate from another more "corporate" company and we were not satisfied with their customer service.  Randy Wickens came to give us an estimate and answer our many questions.  He was courteous, prompt, knowledgeable and very friendly.  It took us awhile to finally move from the estimate stage to the install stage but we finally did a few months later.  The installation guys, Kelly and Dave, were prompt, fast and excellent at their job.  We are looking forward to being able to use our pool throughout almost the entire year.  Thank you Excel Solar!

From start to finish they were responsive and communicated very well. We were pleased with the repair and the service!

initial consult/estimation with Randy was informative and provided sufficient detail needed to make a decision.  Dave and Kelly provided additional helpful info during install, and quality looks top notch and very professional.  Alisha made it super easy to deal with the permitting and FPL rebate requirements.

We called Excel out to give us an estimate for install of solar heat for our pool. Randy, sales rep. came out and explained the entire system and showed us samples of the product being used, installation and how it operate.
We thought about it a few days and explored all other options, and decided solar was the way to go. We called Randy to finalize the contract. 
Work was scheduled a few days later. The installer showed up on time and the work was performed in a professional manner. When the job was completed, the area was left clean. They explained the operation of the time clock and valves.They also answered all our questions we had about the system..
Although the weather is still warm, I can't say how well the system heats the pool water. I can say, when they fired it up after install,  we immediately felt warm water coming out of the jets.
As they explained to us, the system is easy to use. Set the desired temp. and forget it. No adjustments are needed unless you desire more or less heat.
We are very happy with the service Excel provided, and excited to know we have extended our pool usuage at least four more months.

Response time awesome! I had an estimate in twenty four hours (someone came to house) and work finished two weeks later(They finished in two days ). They are professionals! They even knew about the FPL REBATE AND IRS rebate...and they took time to call me to see if I had gotten the rebate..I was swimming in a 90 degree pool in April!

Installers were on time and very thorough. They answered all our questions thoroughly while completing the work efficiently.

Randy went up on the roof  to measure and checked all the panels and said they looked good and were working fine. He then came down and checked the equipment.
He was honest enough to tell me that I didn't need new solar panels all I needed was to have an adjustment done on my actuator.
I had just had the pool redone so he told me to call the company that did it to come back and adjust the actuator. He said if they wouldn't do the work to call Excel Solar and a tech from Excel would be happy to come out and adjust the part.
I was extremely happy to have met such an honest salesman! He gave me the estimate I wanted on new panels which was very reasonable. If I am in need of solar panels in the future I will call Solar Excel. This is a very honest company!

I called this company after trying another, the other being totally inept.
The tech arrived right on time. I explained the problem I was having, and he in turn explained what tests he was going to perform in order to identify which component needed the attention, and so that I would not be spending $$ on anything not necessary.
He further gave the whole system, including the roof panels, a thorough examination, and made certain recomendations that I should consider in the future.
The tech was knowledgable, polite and fixed the system within an hour.  The price was extremely good at $405 as I had been
quoted more than that by the other company, excluding labor.
I highly recomend Excel Solar.
