"Thanks Johnny, Happy to help!"
"Hi this is Dan the owner. First of all, I am sorry for what you and your wife are going through and I apologize for this misunderstanding. The technician sent a proposal for you to sign and followed up, we assumed you went with a different company when you didn't sign, otherwise we were planning on bringing a portable unit for you. I will be looking into the situation of the accused misdiagnosis of the condenser coil leaking when it was a joint leaking, please email the picture to [email protected], so I can review and go over with the technician and take action accordingly. Our practice is not to scam people for unnecessary repairs, we have built up a reputation over the last 7-8 years in business of being honest and reliable and I intend to keep that reputation. Unfortunately with the coil repairs for Trane are common. A simple Google search of Trane evaporator coil leaks will turn up multiple issues and complaints of there coils leaking within a year or 2 of installation. We stopped selling Trane for this reason, and there lack of customer support. We can't control the quality of the equipment and can only change brands when we aware that they are producing a faulty product, and we have done so the year we started having coils leak a year after installation. Trane used to be more reliable than they currently are, which was the reason we installed Trane previously. Also, as far as the time for repair. Every manufacturer is having issues with coils taking a long time to ship. If a coil is not in stock its common that they will take a few weeks to deliver and unfortunately Trane does not help and give us any other options. I spoke to the technician and saw photos of where the leak was detected and where the corrosion and refrigerant oil was present. Did the other company company perform a pressure check and ensure the vacuum reached 500 microns and held below a 1000 for 10 minutes to ensure all present leaks were repaired? Because these photos show a ton of oil along the coil."
