Brevard Air and Refrigeration

Please note: The contractor in question, Brevard Air & Refrigeration, Inc., is listed on Angie's with a different address. The address that is printed on the service order/invoice given to me is 3420 N Courtenay Pkwy, #117, with a phone number of (321) 453-0150. Perhaps, there the company recently moved or maybe has more than one location. I placed this review under "Brevard Air" because of the phone number is an exact match. The contractor did not arrive for the appointment and did not call to say they would not honor the day and time they set. Needless to say, I waited patiently (and wasted) over three hours due to their lack of consideration. No one even apologized when I contacted them the following day. The original time was set for 3PM and I waited for Brevard Air & Refrigeration until after 6PM, too late to call their office that day. Brevard Air & Refrigeration, Inc. claimed that a (suspiciously) overly large amount of refrigerant was needed to charge the system, but then said the leak was very small, an illogical and inconsistent position. The A/C system did not seem to operate appreciably better after the service than before. In sharing my poor experience with Brevard Air & Refrigeration, Inc. with a friend - I met this person after the service was conducted - she stated that she had a similarly poor experience. In my case, the manager did not seem to care in the least with any of the discrepancies reported. I cannot recommend Brevard Air & Refrigeration to anyone.
