Handyman Service
George came and did a good job for a fair price on some things. The problem was he took two pieces of furniture and a part of an heirloom to his home to refinish for me. He did say it would take a while, but after 3 months he still wasn't returning calls. I'd leave messages with his wife and on his cell phone with no response. Finally my husband and I had to DRIVE to his house to find out what was going on. He had LOST the piece from the cedar chest my grandfather made, and claimed to have left the other furniture out in the rain and ruined it, so he threw it away. I am so angry! Not only for what happened, but for dodging my calls and leaving me in the dark. He did offer to 'trade' the furniture he destroyed for the last payment on other work, but I'd rather have my bookshelf, chest, and handle from my cedar chest. Now everytime I see him walking around town with his Macaw on his shoulder my stomach clenches. This would be a lot more forgivable if he actually seemed sorry and had tried to communicate.
