Originally I was pleased with the job except for one issue.  They scratched the driver's side window with their sander / buffer.  The body kit was installed well and the passenger door replacement was good. Like I said, other than the window the car looked like new.  I was pleased enough with the job that I had them fix a few other things on other vehicles.

After about a year or so, the paint started to peel on several sections of the car that they repainted.  I'm sure you've seen the cars on the road where part of the paint is still good but other parts are hideously bad.  My car isn't that bad yet but it's headed that way.  I asked them if they would fix it but they said they had a 90 day warranty (I think that's what they said).  I have a truck that is 15 years old with the original paint job that looks beautiful.  I have a hard time believing the paint on a repainted car would only last a couple of years.

This is why I signed up for Angie's list.  I'm looking for a better body shop.  Given Body's By Doug has an A rating tells me I have to carefully read the reviews to make sure I get a lasting job.  I suspect this next paint job is going to cost more; they will probably have to strip the car to repair the defective paint job that Body's By Doug did.

t had happen, she took It went great.  I went in and spoke to Donna.  Told her I was so upset, it was my new car and during a heavy rain storm I was backing up to pick something up at Lowe's and my windows are very tinted and I didn't see the pole.  It left a series of small dents and 2 quarter size ones on the bumper area with paint from the pole.  I just wanted to cry.  My was only had 423 miles.  I checked Angie's List and found Body's by Doug.  I went in met Donna told her what had happened, told her had had not informed my husband because, this was my car and I pay the payments.  She gave me a quote, it sounded very good to me, just have it back as it was new.  When I picked it up, I was the happiest woman.  It looked just like it did when I purchased the car, YEAH!  Thank you Donna and her crew.  They are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doug and team got the car in Oct 2012. He performed a major repainting and body job lasting over 1 year. He was very good communicating the details up front and sticking very close to the estimate. I added many enhancements as things moved along. The bottom line is the 66 vette looks great. I very high quality job. The price is reasonable considering the quality. The only complaint would been the amount of time he had the car. But, great work can't be rushed and I did not rush them.

He also worked seamlessly with Vette Interiors of Titusville. Handing the car back and form. First interior and motor work, then to Doug's, then back to VI

Doug and his team are perfectionists to the extreme. They knew from the time of submitting the quote to me as to exactly what had to be done. There was not any add-ons (labor or parts) once we agreed on the quote. Adding some much needed wheels and tires, the corvette now rides and looks as it did when I bought the corvette in 89. Doug worked with me in reviewing all the options to get the corvette back to like new. I would highly recommend Doug and Donna and the team to others for any classic car repair or restoration.

Super impressed by the job done, was lower cost and looks like a terrific job. They priced lower than the shops that just buy all parts but job looks as good or better. Outstanding experience.

The GM splash guards and engine covers are not available in Aqua Blue Metallic color. Doug painted all four splash guards and the engine cover to match the exterior of the car. He used the paint code from the car and the color matched perfectly. He gave me a few hints on how I can install the splash guards so this saved me some money. I am very pleased with the result. As of 8/14/2011, the paint on the guards and engine cover still look like new.

Doug removed the hood and truck lid to paint on factory style stripes. I asked for white stripes and he recommend using the 2010 Camaro White color. He laid out the stripes perfectly and buried them under the clear coat. You can not feel the stripes under the paint. They look perfect. He also added a label with the paint code under the trunk mat for future use. He did the complete job in less than 3 days. I will use Body's By Doug again.
