Our leak was under the slab inside the house. . They identified the exact location, verified, and then drilled, verified again, and then removed the concrete slab section and put a temporary clamp on the pipe --- until the plumber could come and fix it.

As I said, my water bill went up an additional $100.00 in one month, so price is well worth for identifying exactly where leak is and isolating it immediately.

they did not find leaks and recommended American Leak Detection. My neighbor's
son also used them to find a leak. The tech was on time, courteous and
professional. It took several hours but he was able to find the leak, expose it
and put a rubber patch on it to stop the leak.
I tried to get him to fully repair the leak, but he seemed uninterested in
doing the complete repair. I had to have a plumber complete the repair which
cost additional $100 to fully expose the damaged pipe and $225 to repair the leak. In
addition, the American tech damaged the main water valve (which was not
necessary to use) and it cost $125 to replace. American did not offer to reimburse this
unnecessary expense.
If I have another leak, I will find a plumber that both detects and repairs the
leak.
Swimming pool was leaking nearly doubling my monthly water bill. I called American Leak Detection since I had used them about five years ago with good results. The tech came at the the appointed time with his tools which included electronic detection systems. After a complete checkout, he determined the location of the leak. Unfortunately, this would require breaking through the deck. We scheduled a time and the repair was completed. PVC pipe under the deck was identified as broken and was replaced. The deck was patched. Enough time has passed that I am certain that the repair was successful. The deck removal was minimal and the patch looks good. I still have paint from the last pool refurbishment so I informed the tech from American Leak Detection that I would paint it after allowing the patch to dry.
