replaced. The unit had frozen up several different times also. I have been told several different things over the course of the next
two years. I have been told...power surges have knocked my unit out/off, my A/C filter was dirty (which caused it to freeze up/filter
was a 3 mth filter that had been in only 4 wks), the unit will reset itself, give it 30 mins then turn in back on. Most times that I called
when the A/C went out..I was given an irritated attitude. On at least 3 occasions I was told.."I'm very busy and can't get to you for a
couple of days". On the last encounter with Air Pro, I was told: "You will have to deal with it, I'm very busy". I was then told that they
would stop by on their way home as my home was close by. When they arrived they were intoxicated. I was very upset. I was told
again after they looked at the unit that the blower motor went out again, I have no A/C and goodbye. As I followed them out, I was
told again they are very busy, it would be 2-3 days and they would call me the next day with a better estimate of time. This is the dead heat of summer and I refuse to be spoken to that way or told that you can't service your own equipment and on top of it have an
attitude about it. I had to have another company come out the next day to fix the unit. When the other Company came out it took the tech 3 hours to get it running properly. These are the items that were wrong: the blower unfroze and was running at that time, the unit was not blown out and backed up, the duct work on the top of the air handler was not sealed at all, the compressor was over-heating and was overfilled with freon by 3lbs, the wiring was not colored code to proper or identifiable specs. The other company charged me only $120 for being there for 3 hours. I was in tears by the end of that 3 hours with all that was told to me. The unit worked for 6 days and froze again. I called the other company and they came out after hours within 30 mins. and placed a temp
blower motor in the unit as it was gone/broken. He returned two days later with the warranty motor and placed it and all was running great. I was charged $140. I had to spend $260 with another company to fix someone elses equipment because they were "too busy" and obviously don't stand behind their product. I called Air Pro a few days later and spoke with the wife and told her how upset and unhappy I was regarding what had transpired between their company and myself. She agreed they should not have come to my home intoxicated and that it was not right for her husband to speak to me the way he did. She said she did not know what she could do. I stated , I would appreciate it if they would meet me half way and reimburse me half of the fee of $260 as they should of stood behind their product and serviced it. She said she would speak to her husband and their partner and get back to me. I did receive a phone call back and was told that they would not reimburse me 1/2 the cost I paid to have it fixed. I told her I was sorry we couldn't come to an agreement, I was very upset with the total service with their company and have no
confidence in them, and that I would be writing a letter to the better business bureau regarding this whole incident. This company has no customer service in any sense of the word , in my opinion. Nor do they have the skill or work ethic to be in business.
