The 2 guys that are here doing the job have been great. They've been working very hard. They took a short lunch but they've been working all day. They are very, very neat. Anything that was happening, like oh we have to put the register here instead of there, is that alright? The outside looks great and it looks to me like they've done a very good job.
Every time my husband contacted them, he got back to him right away. Which my husband appreciated because he just doesn't have time to be fussing around and waiting a day and all that. I'm going away next week. When they had the session late last week, he wanted it done while I was here because he would be at work and wouldn't be home. So they got us right in and I thought that was great.
The price was competitive so it was good. It was a really good system and it came in cheaper than some other systems. Everything looks great - very, very neat. They had to add a conduit on the outside of the house and that's very very neat.
That also has a 10-year warranty with it for everything, no more cost for 10 years. That is why I went ahead and brought that. I don?t usually buy those, but on air conditioners. I live very close to salt, like real close. On the front porch, you can hear the ocean and on the back porch I?ve got 3 miles of salt water behind me, I live on the intercostal. I?ve got salt everywhere and it is a constant thing. Other than that, it is a great place to live.
I did have a couple of minor problems with the air conditioner, the little bit of growing pains when you first get them and there is always something that goes wrong. They were out in one case the same day. The next case the next day. They are really good. They were right out and that was during a busy time, so I give them credit on that. The price was not bad as far as I?m concerned. They were about in line with everybody else, they weren?t any better or any worse. The warranty is through them. That price included a 10-year warrant for parts and labor. A lot of times there is a trick, you pay for the parts and the labor is twice as much.
I just saw an advertisement in the paper and I called them, which I don?t usually do, but in this case. I was going to go through another company, but the other company kind of messed up on its service even for the quote. I don?t want to bad mouth them. The other company was an okay company, but they had a bad salesman, that made me look elsewhere.
