A Plus Tub & Tile

Made appointment. They came right on time. Did the work to perfection in the time they said they were going to. Guaranteed work. Did not leave any details out as far as how to take care of it and clean it! Looks brand new. I was very surprised how it came out!

George repaired some scratches and minor rust in my bathtub at the end of May 2013. He also resurfaced the tub. By November rust was showing up where he had supposedly repaired it. I tried to get ahold of him twice in two different months and to no avail. No callback at all. Finally I emailed him here on Angie's list and left another message on his phone did he bother to contact me. He did come out and repair the rust once again. His comment was that he does not warranty rust repair. He did not bother to tell me that when he originally did the work. If he had I would not have had him perform the work. I would have just replaced the tub. I don't know how long this repair will last but I have been in contact with someone about replacing the tub when it becomes necessary.

He was there virtually nonstop for three hours. He popped out twice for about 10 mintes, but otherwise nose to the grindstone. I wish I had attempted to negotiate the price, as I felt that was a bit dear.

An update. He had to return 3 times to address discoloration. He did say there may be water behind the tile that is still leaching, so can't blame him for that. However, all of the caulking looks terrible; like it's been there for 10 years. I left him a message, but am sure he's not going to call back. So, the for money, this was not one of my best investments. Gonna call someone else to address the caulk issue.

George gave me an estimate over the phone and said he would be able to do the small job when he came to inspect it. He indicated he had done a lot of this kind of work and also mentioned he could repair tile, too. His prices are reasonable and he works quietly and efficiently. I will definitely call him to do more work in the near future. He is as personable in person as he sounds on the phone. I don't remember for sure when he came but it was around the end of 2010 or beginning of 2011.
