Overall we were very happy with Sunshine and in particular Serge Cave, who was our primary contact with the company. We were a little nervous at first because the quote we received was substantially lower than the estimates we had gotten from a couple of other reputable roofers. But the job turned out well and there were no surprises regarding price or timing along the way. There were, however, a few instances where corrective work was needed. For example, the workers started to install a galvanized drip edge when we had ordered aluminum. In each instance, Serge was very responsive and he and the company did what was needed to set things right. Based on my experience, I'd recommend Sunshine for a residential roof replacement with the caveat that Serge be the primary company representative on the project. He was patient and responsive throughout the process, not just when he was bidding on the job. In addition, he had a good eye for aesthetics, which was very helpful when design issues came up along the way. I'd also suggest that the homeowner monitor the work closely and regularly, so that if there are any issues that come up they can be addressed right away - of course, that's probably good advice on any home improvement project.
