If I could give them a zero I would. Terrible experience and I am not happy that I went through Angi’s List. Complete scam. They are not a moving company. They answer the phone when you press 1 for a quote, make lots of promises, give you a quote for lower than what the actual movers will charge you on the spot. They collect one third of the quoted amount as a deposit, by credit card and they are out bye-bye. That is their fee for answering the phone. When you next call their number and press 2 for follow up on your move they are unhelpful, don’t give a **** about your timing on delivery and become very rude after keeping you on hold for as long as they want. By now they know your phone number, have already taken their fee and don’t care if they cause you any stress. It’s a profitable game for them. Random movers with a Ryder truck showed up in Florida and quoted a completely different amount and demand payment for half on the spot, shoved our stuff into storage for 6 days without telling us. All along we are getting a drop off permit in Boston for a week after pick-up. Lots of excuses on why it is later when I finally find out there is no date for delivery, including “oh, we thought you wanted your stuff put in storage”. A random truck from Baltimore picked up the stuff from storage and called well into the evening, the day before they wanted to drop it off, a week after we expected it, without giving us the time to get the required permit. They require cash or bank draft at the last minute for the exact same amount as the pick-up crew demanded. Needed to take time off from work at the last minute to accommodate their randomness, as had taken off the week prior for the move. BEWARE- quote is inaccurate, as is delivery and furious that I contacted Angi’s List. Their good rating is completely fabricated, they are not a moving company. Please do a better job of reviewing contacts before you offer them up to others.
