Very happy with their services. Took my dog (rescue that had been badly abused) in for shots and check up. They were very gentle with him and reassuring so he was not traumatised as he had never been to a vets before. Have used this vet for years and highly recommend. Prices are in line with other local vets. They also have Saturday hours.

When we arrived at the Vet we were informed that we need to take the dogs to the day care/boarding behind their business, which had a different name that Animal Hospital of the Emerald Coast. Their name on the sign was and quot;Cain's Dog Day Care and groomingand quot;. But I can not find them listed in the phone book.
When we arrived at the Boarding place they had huge dogs at the entrance behind gates. My dog is a miniature and she was terrified, they had to drag her back there. If I had any choice about having to board them, I would have taken her home then.
When we picked them up, they could not find their charts. When they brought them out they were clawing at the door to get out. They were crying loudly. They were literately freaking out.
I have boarded them at two previous animal hospitals, because we had to make the arrangements at the last minute they were the only boarding place available. At the previous animal hospitals, when we picked them up they would be excited to see us and want lots of attention. But, never have they run to the door and claw and beg to get out.
This concerns me about what happened while we were gone. I will never leave my dog's at that place again.

The vet and the assistant were extremely professional and loving towards my dogs. They took their time and did a complete exam. I would take them back for their annual shots. My only complaint would be they push you buying all the expensive preventive supplies. Mouth wash, dog food, teeth brushing. Normally the vet would recommend these products and services, but not be really pushy. I felt like I was at a car lot.

Dr. Cullotta provided excellent care for my pet who is struggling with a severe eye infection. He clean both areas around the eyes which was crusted and irritated. He also provided a solution that helped soothed and healed the area. His technician explained in detail the best method to keep the crustation down. I have used Emerald Coast Animal Hospital for the last year. Dr. Toveau became my primary veterinarian immediately after my pet was diagnose with megaesophagus. Dr. Toveau has been excellent with providing care and training on managing her condition. Prices are fair, staff friendly and facility is well kept.

I dropped my dogs off around 8:00 am, both dogs seemed very calm when I dropped them off. They do doggie daycare, so there were a lot of dogs but they were all calm and well behaved, which suprised me. Good Job. Picked my dogs up around 2:30, they were still happy and calm. I would definitely recommend Emerald Coast Animal Hospital for dog grooming and pet care.

This is where I take my bird (for now). This is the only vet in town that is an avian vet, I think. I dropped the bird off and told them to do a check up on him too. When I came to pick him up, they overcharged me (until I asked them about it, then they refunded me), the cover for his cage had holes in it - that were NOT there before (perhaps my bird chewed them when nobody ever came to uncover him, which is unacceptable) and they never told me anything about his exam... no results or anything. On top of that they charge $20/night for bird boarding - I even brought his own cage so he'd feel more comfortable. To me, that's kinda steep for watching a bird. It's not like you have to walk him or anything.Anyway, I'm really not sure if I'm going to go back to them. Right now I am looking into pet-sitting services so I don't have to pay $20/night for a small parrot.

I would love to recommend them. They are just wonderful. They are loving and caring. They are very understanding. They love animals. They are friendly and courteous. I remember one of my dogs was very sick at the time and they would stay open until I could get there. They are just wonderful. I would use them in the future.
