Rather than tear up the floor to repair the leak, Artisan replaced the hot water line inside the house. This was an excellent way to approach the problem, since the galvanized water line is about 60 years old, and would probably begin leaking again somewhere else. The work was completed in less than one day, and the price was exceptionally reasonable, in contrast to a much larger figure quoted previously by another plumber. We recommend Artisan to anyone in the area who wants excellent plumbing work done.

The office scheduled the work over the phone, saying that they charged $90/hr, normally this should be done in an hour, and no, they didn't need to come look first. I already had a bid from a competitor who, looking at it, said that it would take an hour and a half or two. We selected Artisan based in part on a referral from another service provider who, being a handyman and not a full plumber, felt the work was beyond his capability. The Artisan rep arrived on time, worked continuously for two hours, did very good work, and indicated that the job as presented went about as well as could be expected.

Mystery leak, possibly in slab(!). He was here as fast as possible (came on a Saturday) and got the issue resolved with less wall damage than expected. Had all parts necessary in rolling stock truck. He also returned the following weekend when another leak sprang up.
He will be called again when we have PLANNED work and any (gods forbid) emergency plumbing needs.

He was prompt, reasonably priced, and the quality of work was very good. I had him do some more work for me later. I would give him an A+ and I most definitely will use him again.
