I gave him a $300 deposit. He said that the work would be done within a week. I called him the week that it was suppose to be done to tell him that the closet was ready for installation. I didn't hear back from him until the Tuesday of the next week, to tell me he would be there on Thursday. He didn't show. Since then, I have not heard from him. I called again recently and told the answering machine that I thought he was ripping me off and to call me if that is not true. I have not heard from him, so I assume it is true. I called the source that recommended him and they said they have another complaint. I called the bank and he had cashed the check the very day he got it.
