It went really well. The quality of the cabinet is great. It is strong and Durabe. There is no damage. Overall I am satisfied with the service.

We used Mike’s Magic Custom Cabinetry for some work in February 2018. What a disaster! Mike talked a good talk and said all the right things when doing the estimate and writing up the contract. He seemed very knowledgeable and thorough. He was able to address all stages of the project from wallpaper removal, texturing, painting, installing laminate flooring, new closet doors and trim. Everything changed once the contract was signed and the deposit taken. He was extremely difficult to work with, he would not give time estimates for arrival, was unprofessional and disrespectful in his treatment of his employee and us. He has an explosive temper and his excessive use of profanity and yelling were difficult to be around. On one occasion he was yelling at me over the phone. He did not do a good job on any aspect of the project. Some wallpaper remained around the door jamb. He did not know how to install laminate flooring and created a mess around the edges with gaps that he said would be hidden by the baseboard (and were not), large gaps around closet entry, and the threshold to the room. He had his helper fill these gaps with wood putty saying the space was necessary in order to get the planks in! This was all after he “fixed” it after installing the threshold in the room rather than in the door jamb initially. We had to pay a real flooring company to repair the worst of his mistakes. Somehow they were able to do the install without leaving gaps and filling them in with putty. Perhaps the worst aspect of the disaster was that Mike uses his son, James to do the painting. James seemed like a nice guy, but has no sense of responsibility or keeping his commitments. The ordeal with James lasted a few weeks in which he would say he was coming and then not show up and keep giving new time estimates hour by hour until the day was over. He had one excuse after the other ranging from flat tire, to needing brakes, to having a car accident on the way and on and on. He had a couple of guys come with him to paint a couple of different days and they would stay anywhere between 1.5 and 4 hours. One of the guys used flat ceiling paint rather than semi-gloss on the doors. They left all of their brushes and rollers in the pans with paint on them for us to eventually throw in the trash. James also requested request payment in cash so he could pay his guys. He also tried to get the rest of the money for the job before it was completed, saying that he needed the money to put food on the table for his kids. We severed the relationship after James did not show up or make contact an hour after he was scheduled to be here to complete the job. The painting was less than half complete and our home was upside down with everything displaced. We ended up finishing the painting ourselves with the help of my daughter and son-in-law. Steer clear of these people! They say what you want to hear but do not deliver. The work that was done was of poor quality and unprofessional.

Ok but workmanship was not that good. Pulled out kitchen cabinet and cut it down and installed doors. After departure I realized that back of cabinet was not connected to bottom of cabinet. Also reinstallation of wood pieces adjacent to wall left these pieces chipped in places.

It couldn't have gone any better. Work was performed on time. Mike's estimate turned out to be completely accurate in terms to price paid and timeline (no surprises). The vanity is beautiful, excellent quality and provides the extra storage I was seeking. All debris was removed and everything was left clean. Mike and his son James proved to be very reliable and kept in touch with me every step of the way.
I would not hesitate to use Mike's Magic for future projects.

I contacted them one day before they provided the service. Their timeliness was amazing. When we needed them most they were there. The new kitchen cabinet installation went flawlessly once they arrived. My husband and I were struggling with trying to do the project ourselves but soon realized there were issues we could not handle. Thanks to Mike and his son they were able to salvage the work done and fix the issues and finish the rest of the project in less than a day. Mike really does perform magic once he arrives. They work with a well equipped truck that has all the tools they need to deal with normal and unexpected tasks. They were careful and did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. We were extremely grateful and thought the price was very reasonable.

He was a very nice man, the cabinet looks nice. I am happy with it.
