Mechanical Cooling AC & refrigeration

Hired these guys after getting what I know was a bad estimate / bad advice from another company. Really, Mechanical Cooling AC & refrigeration fixed EXACTLY what I thought it was for a super fair price. Will be using them excusively

Able to fit me in quickly, arrived when expected, diagnosed the issue and showed me everything, fixed the problem for a fair price. A very smooth experience!

Their AC technician was very knowledgeable. Answer all my technical questions. Arrived on time. Clean up the workplace after the installation. Great performance

ramone was the service tech and he arrived on time, very nice polite honest . after few moments he explain what the problem was the cost , had parts i needed a float valve and a fuse, replaced both in about 35 mins .when i heard my a/c start up ,IT WAS A RELIEF!!!!!! They responded right away and I set an appt for them to come and give estimate the next day at 10am. They didn't show up so I called back at 10:15 am. The lady told me that her tech was running an hour late and asked did I want to wait. Funny they didn't have the business sense, or common courtesy to call me and let me know. I would never consider doing business with any company that can't even show up on time for an estimate. Ridiculous!!! I lost two hours of work time and money. Careful with this company.

I had an excellent experience with Mechanical Cooling AC & refrigeration. They were very professional, clean and committed to getting the job done! They were very punctual and delivered on everything they promised. Friendly staff and VERY reliable! If you're thinking of having any AC work done in your home, these are the guys to call. I will definitely recommend them and use them again in the future!

It went really well! The technician came out within an hour. He checked everything and was able to resolve the problem quickly. We will be using them again!!!

Our AC stopped working over a weekend. I requested estimates from 4 different companies. Mechanical Cooling AC is the only one that responded to me on a Sunday. (some other companies never responded.) They explained they could come on Sunday to do an estimate but that it was an additional $75 for a Sunday estimate. We were fine with that as it was HOT! They came right on schedule and did the estimate. They were clear and professional and explained what needed to be done. I cannot comment on cost as I did not get any other estimates. Just wanted it done... They were due to come out the next morning to start work, but rain delayed their scheduled arrival. They called to explain they would be a few hours late, so no problem. The same guy came out to do the repair that I had discussed and had the estimate the day before, so there was a good comfort level there. He brought a second guy. The job ended up taking much longer than estimated. There were a few things about my house and where the AC was that made it more complicated. They did not charge me additional for the additional work as we had already come to an agreement a head of time. I really appreciated that! They promised they would finish by the end of the day, again like I said- it was HOT! They ended up working until 2:30 AM with no complaints or bad feelings. My husband is an industrial designer and very picky about construction and installation and he had no problems at all with the work that was completed! They never did charge me for the $75 estimate, so I guess it was only charged if I didn't use them for the job. Super nice guys, super good work. I would hire this company and that team again if I ever needed them! Such a good experience. Hope this review is helpful for others!

The tray was filled and would not drain out. He responded on time and did the work. In retrospect, he should have checked the filter as well.

I’ve used Mechanical Cooling AC twice now in the last 30 days. The first time I came across them I needed emergency service done to my ac as it stopped working at 9 pm on a school night. Having a 3-yr old, 10-month old and wife, I knew this was not something it could wait till the next day. Dispatch sent Ramone who was very courteous and professional. Took him a few minutes to diagnose the issue and got to it right away. It was not an easy job (finished at 1 am), but he did it right and was very upbeat, despite having a service call the next morning at 7 am. About three weeks later (on a Saturday morning), we woke up to the inside temperature of our house hitting 79 degrees. Remind that we live in Florida, and it’s extremely humid, especially in mid-May. Anyhow, dispatch sent Ramone again, and within minutes of his arrival we noticed that one of the blades of the outside compressor fan was literally sliced in two, thus preventing the compressor from working and cold air flowing. I know I need to replace my HVAC (12 years old), but having bought this house 9 months ago I still have some other projects that I need to handle before attacking my HVAC. Nonetheless, Ramon and Mechanical Cooling have been great so far and they are my go-to professionals when I need help with the HVAC (but hoping that I stop having issues with it, lol).

Ramone replaced the motor with a newer model . After that , our air conditioner is running smooth and much better all around
