"Working with these member's was great. Both of them were very interested in the process and asked many questions....and the member even fed me during the process :-) I mean she really did...she made a trip to a local Bagel store and brought back great bagels with cream cheese and lox! Sadly in their case, the seller of the home seemed to not want to "play fair" and seemed to try to cut corners. That was an instant Red Flag for me, which immediately made me want to protect the member's by being sure that the seller did what was required and not short change them in the process. After the intial inspection, we uncovered mold growing within a wall cavity in the kitchen, under the Master Bathroom Spa/Whirlpool, and all the Air Handlers servicing the home they wanted to purchase. With these findings in hand, we proceeded to provide the member's a report which included recommendations for the seller to follow in order to remediate the concerns. Because the remediator did not follow our recommendations and further missed multiple areas where visible mold remained after they claimed they were done, we were forced to have the areas re-remediated two additional times until we were confident that the surfaces and the air was back to Normal Fungal Ecology. "Integrity Above All Else"....that is more than a slogan for my company....it is the very core of our business....so reading that the member saw that in our dealings is just another indication that we achieved our ultimate goal. When we are called in to do an inspection for Mold, be it during a buying process, when getting ready for a baby to come home, or anything in between, we know that Peace Of Mind is ultimately what our clients are looking for. There is enough hype and mis-information floating around...they come to us looking to make sense of the realities of mold exposure. As a professor at a local college in our area teaching Sampling Methodology to our industry, I enjoy the opportunity to give my clients peace of mind through education."
