"We are quite saddened to read this review and alarmed of the false accusations. The proposal was created on 7/27/2020 where the deposit was paid on 7/29/2020. Permit application and affidavit required by the city's building department was mailed out to the client right after deposit was made. The customer refused to sign the documents stating that they were not filled out to her standards, and also questioned why she had to sign the affidavit since she did not sign one for her garage permit. On 8/10/2020, I explained to Ms. [Member Name Removed] that the city requires these documents for permit submittal. I also mentioned the approval from her homeowner's association is needed, in which she claimed she already had. The client rudely accused us of being incompetent as she did not have to sign the affidavit for her garage door and didn't understand why she had to now. After listening to her insults, in which we were ready to cancel the project ourselves, on the same day I emailed the client the paperwork filled out to her approval. Communication did not stop, as the client was updated on her delivery and permit. Her products were ordered on 8/3/2020 and delivered in October. Manufacturers are delayed in deliveries due to the pandemic and the hurricane season for impact windows and doors. This was also explained to the customer during the 8 weeks. The permitting process in the city's building department has changed as well, and the approval took 6 weeks. We do not have control on the deliveries, nor Pembroke Pines permitting process and this was also explained to Ms. [Member Name Removed]. Installation started due to the permit approval rather than a cancellation threat. The products were installed within a few hours, screens delivered from the manufacturer the same day, and installed the next morning. Final inspection and final payment was completed on 11/3/2020. We need to have a system in place where the contractor can review the homeowner, as this might have saved from dealing with this unprofessional customer. Michael P Shea"

"This job was never executed because there was a death in our family and when returning to the business, this one repair must have slipped through the cracks. Not a Carbonneau's standard. We felt so poorly for this to happen to one of our potential customers. This never happens here at Carbonneau's and we offered the complete service at no charge."
