We were completely satisfied with the remodeling project that Rob Whitman and his crew did for us in the complete remodeling of our Marco Island condo. Pre-remodeling, he invested a significant amount of time with us, planning for the redesign and the specifics of the remodeling of each room. He listened well to our thoughts and made recommendations for redesign concepts and materials that he felt we should consider. Prior to giving us a bid, he brought in his subcontractors to meet with us so that they fully understood what we wanted. It was important that we were all on the same page, since the remodeling itself took place when we were back in Minnesota. Rob assured us that he would manage this remodeling project (in our absence) as though it were his own home --- and we found that to be true. In checking references on Whitman Industries, the words "integrity"; "follows through on timelines and commitments", and "quality work" were used. One individual said that "If Rob did the project, then I know it's been done right."

During the remodeling phase, Rob communicated with us on a regular basis, seeking clarification and making corrections when needed. In the post-remodeling phase, neighbors have made positive comments to us about the crew that did the day-to-day work, saying that the crew members were nice and open to letting neighbors "take a peek" at what was happening in our condo. Neighbors have voiced very positive impressions of Rob and his crew members.

The cost for this remodeling project was higher than estimates from other contractors, but, in the end, we feel we received excellent value for the dollars invested. We would strongly recommend Whitman Industries for any remodeling or new construction project.

My experience with him was fantastic. He just exceeds everything that is expected of him. People come by here and look at my place and I have husbands telling me not to let their wives look at what he's done here because it's going to cost them money. He's here when he says he'll be here and he oversees everything. He is a little more expensive than others and that's why a lot of people don't use him.

His name is Rob Whitman and he only works in Marco Island. He and his whole team are fantastic. He did work for me last year and this year. I took the whole group of them out to brunch. I know what I'm spending with them is more than I would spend with another contractor because I've seen their work. With his work he meets or exceeds every code there is. When an inspector can't make it they will ask to see a digital picture for them to sign off on, they trust him that much - that's the type of work he does. People look at the shower and they are wowed. They just did my guest bathroom, kitchen, put new storage in my dining room. I'm going to call my guest bath Caesar's Palace bathroom, it can compete with any of those bathrooms because it's so nice. The cabinets match the wall so much it's hard to tell they are there. That guy was unbelievable. Whitman communicates with me every morning and lets me know the day before what's going on. He's here every morning to double check if something's coming up, he will text me if something comes up and keeps me informed. He inspects probably more than the normal inspector does on the work. He's very meticulous in what he does. He charges a little more and I think that's why some people shy away. I've run into others who use him and are impressed with him. He won't go off of Marco Island because he likes to be right in the area in case anything goes wrong. Some of the stuff he has installed is going to be around a lot longer than I am.
