The painters were professional and did a beautiful job.  However, I wasn't sure if I was paying too much for the work.  I would get other estimates the next time I would hire someone to paint. If this company was competitive, I would definitely hire them again.

I did not receive a quote for service, and this lack of response speaks volumes to work ethic.

The owner was very delayed in giving us an estimate. We had to track him down. The painters themselves did a wonderful job. They were very timely and prompt. They stayed on it until it was finished. 03/26/2012 I would like to change that report from a B to a D due to problems found after the fact.  Problem 1:  I reminded the staff actually painting to insure that all doors should not be painted shut.  They did go around and insure the doors were free.  They did NOT free the jaoulsie windows, so all 9 windows are painted shut.  A nuisance that will require my taking a tool to open all the windows.  I had just worked on all the windows to insure they worked well before the painters came, aggravating to say the least.  Problem 2: Just discovered today.  We have a pest control contract with a large company down here.  We have their guaranteed program that insures that no matter the problem, they will come out at no extra charge.  Since we live on the water surrounded by palm trees, they had to work especially hard to insure that the even the smallest hole was filled with preventive metal cloth to keep these pests out.  We haven't had a rat problem in many years.  In the last week, we have now had at least 4 rats in the attic and walls.  Today, the Pest Control folks inspected the roof and found every cap sealing the eaves had been pulled back to be painted behind and never replaced.  We are now having major repairs made to prevent the rats from getting back in and will have to have traps in our attic to catch whatever is up there.  I tried to call the contractor but have not been able to reach him.  Will continue to try.  In the meantime, I must change his grade to a D for failure to supervise their staff appropriately.
