Description of Work: I had Amplex come over to give me a quote on putting my computer components in the closet so as not to clutter the area around my bed where I do most of my work. I found the them to be very dedicated to excellence, very motivated to get things right, very enthusiastic about helping me and very original in the finding solutions I hadn't thought of. I had two other companies give me a quote and they were about 15% lower. As the project unfolded I began to trust them more and more and sought out their expertise in other areas such as graphic design, lighting, home theater, computer repair and preventative maintenance, to list just a few things. Together they helped me realize a log held dream I had for a tally new concept for my bedroom. They have made a video presentation of the whole project. To say the least, not only was their pricing fair, but they put many more hours of time and research into the effort than I paid for out of pure love and joy in creating something awesome. Their ability to be flexible and innovative is second to none. To say the least the result was spectacular. Obviously I am more pleased than I can say-- working with them was a delight because they really care about customer service and what they do. They know how to integrate many facets of in home technology to a whole new level by being so good not only technically, but by being sensitive to the esthetic side of things and to the needs of the customer. They work very hard to do things on your schedule and are extremely accessible for follow up work and issues. And they were very generous about educating me along the way. I learned so much about computing during the project. What can I say--they are a couple of really bright, young talented guys who offer so much more than their competitors.

Description of Work: Moved all my electronics from next to bed to the closet (computer and 7 components). Planned and created dual monitor, wireless set up with all components in closet. Upgraded and improved computer performance. Taught me how to use advanced techniques on computer. Simplified remote controls. Improved wiring and look of room to specific esthetic specs. Did several other small jobs around the house to improve how we interface with our technology and get the most out of it...from doorbells, to DVD players, to hooking up a laptop to the main TV, to fixing a light. It took me a while to find a contractor to do what I needed.
